Good morning
36F-51F cloudy.
Got lots of sleep last night, feel pretty good.
Tyler is on his way over to finish his template and make a pickguard from it. I keep reminding him if the template is perfect the pickguard will look like a factory one. He bought the template and pickguard materials so any wasted material comes out of his pocket, good incentive.
Me Darling Wife took me out to dinner last night, prime rib. 15oz is a lot of meat, we will be having prime rib sammies today and still have leftovers.
Shop time.

Good morning Howard. My thoughts are with David this am, as I know too well the loss of your best friend hits hard indeed.
We apparently had a 4.4 earthquake this morning, which I slept through. 4.4 isn’t huge, but it’s definitely noticible. Epicenter was about 90 miles SE of us. Shouldn’t be any real damage, but it’s got the attention of the local news.
Bike ride later, Wordle now.

Good morning. Nothing very interesting to report.
I mentioned that I finally got in to see the dentist Tuesday for a problem I'd noticed six weeks before. The dentist identified the problem as an infection in my gum and prescribed antibiotics. They've kicked in. As they did, I realized this thing had been whacking my system more than I realized. I had to get better to realize how crummy I'd been feeling. Much better now. That's good.
Got lucky again at Wordle. Wordle 475 3/6*

Good Morning
Small success in the backyard this morning. With some brute force applied by way of 8" construction screws into treated lumber, the base of the shed is now only 1/8" off in most dimensions rather than 1/4" off.
Nothing else going on today
Have a fine Friday.

Quite the landmark recording in the history of electronic music. Thanks for posting. This arrived in the mail Wednesday. It's as close as I'm going to get to owning something my company makes.

Little sprinkles of rain this morning, better than nothing, I guess. The Twin Cities have been labeled as being in Extreme Drought, and the state just had its driest September on record, back to the 1800s.
A yearling buck sauntered past my window this morning, limping a bit, and all by himself. Three-pointer.

Sunny and 70 here today so I'm working on closing the pool. I got it cleaned up this morning after the storm earlier this week and threw some shock in it so I'll have to let that circulate for awhile.
I've been trying to get Spectrum TV to work here now that I have Spectrum hi-speed internet but I'm not impressed with their streaming service app. I thought I could get rid of DirecTV and save $300/mo but their app makes getting from channel to channel a real pain in the ass so I'll never get Mary to use it. You can't believe everything you read on the net because I thought I could get it to work like a cable TV remote and I even got it with voice control but the voice control doesn't know how to change the channel. It's been a frustrating week. Enjoy your weekend.

Both my Dachshunds died within 35 days of each other a few months ago. One was 15 and the other was 14. They will be my last dogs. I have buried 5 here at my place in the last 43 years.I miss them.

Factorychef, I understand, having lost Clara, my miniature Black and Tan Dachschund last Feb at age16. Dogs are special.

Sorry about the canine buddies. Big deal.
Cool here, leaves are falling but it has been a really beautiful fall, especially the Maples and Sumac. I need to do the first pass mulching to debunk the lawn.
Going to a wedding reception tonight for a gal that started playing fiddle with us when she was 12. She was amazing then, played with many local bands, and has morphed into quite an in demand player in the Denver area now. Married a pro bass player in Trinidad CO last month and this is her local wedding celebration. They are both great kids. There will definitely be some music.

My thoughts are with David this am, as I know too well the loss of your best friend hits hard indeed. I must have missed something, the loss of a best friend is indeed hard. The Kraftwerk piece that introduced them to me: It didn't make me a fan.
