A beautiful day here, a perfect day for going to the Family Restaurant for breakfast and then getting my 3rd COVID booster.

Cold & damp today. The rain gauge shows 4.5 inches of rain yesterday. Yow! It came down steadily all day and overnight. We needed the rain. I heard shotguns in the distance this morning. Is it deer season? Something is obviously in season.

Good morning. 34F-51F sunny. Only got a bit of work done yesterday and some short errands. Today will hopefully be all work, until nap time. There are people with their knickers in a twist because the Amber Alert for Roseville yesterday went out to the whole Twin Cities area. Better than not going out at all. I'm sure it just ruined their important little lives for 15 minutes.

Good morning. It's 45 here and will probably reach about 75. Sunny, of course. We haven't turned the heat on but last night we were grabbing extra covers so it's time. I'll take a walk soon. Eye doc appointment this afternoon. That's about it. Enjoy your day.

Spitting snow here. Going to see Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt in Missoula tonight - hope the weather settles.

There are people with their knickers in a twist because the Amber Alert for Roseville yesterday went out to the whole Twin Cities area. Better than not going out at all. I'm sure it just ruined their important little lives for 15 minutes. Well, it was longer than 15 mins and it locked down schools, etc., and it wasn't an Amber Alert, which is for child abductions, not at-large homicide suspects, but it turned out helpful that the alert went wider than it was supposed to, as someone outside of Roseville got the alert, saw the suspect in St. Paul and called the cops, leading to his arrest. Really an awful story. Sounds like he used a knife and baseball bat on five family members, and the fatality was a woman, presumably his mother.

Good morning, all.
Flu is running us ragged in the clinic.
Kathy is improving from her bout of COVID. I may get to move back out of the basement tomorrow.

Woo hoo!
I got the Toyota fixed. Got the electrical clip thingie apart this morning, had to release a couple more wire bundles from the air box, removed the air intake plastic stuff, got that crap out of the way, then I had access to the starter motor. After 15 minutes of cussing the bolts that wouldn’t budge, I got the the old starter out. Put in the new starter, connected everything back up, and the car started immediately.
Yeah, I’m a stud.
