Good morning. Today we start to get back to real life. Younger daughter doesn't leave until tomorrow but she'll be elsewhere for much of the day. My search committee will interview a candidate at midday. I also have an dental appointment.

Morning. Argh. I seem to have caught a cold. Debating with myself wether to test as I have no fever, just congestion. And the condo we are staying in has only one packet of coffee, for the pot, and it’s not very good. Waiting for Nita to wake up so we can head down to th Pannikan, a local San Diego rostery that has good coffee. After that a trip to Trader Joe’s, to pick up a few items. Planning on lunch here. tonysjacalsd.com/ Turkey tacos sound weird but they are sooo good. The restaurant has been family owned since 1946. Mike Tested negative, so we are on for lunch.😄 |

Good morning. 25F-41F cloudy. Monday, Again? Nowhere to go today.  So I will get a few items ready for listing on Reverb and maybe meet a customer. If that doesn't fill time I'll start making humidifiers, they'll be needed soon enough. News this morning says they expect illnesses to start rising, duh! With all the holiday closeness, hugging and kissing what else would you expect? Shannon is going to be rather busy until after New Years. |

Nice day in Nebraska. Cleaned the garage and did a little yard cleanup. This afternoon we plan to take Pat’s 98 y/o mom out for a drive and check out how low the Platte is. DQ after.

I'd rather go to the dentist than get a mammogram. Today it was the mammogram. Stopped at See's Candy on the way home and picked up a treat for Mr. H. It will be a Christmas gift, so I had to sneak it into the house. No danger of me eating any of it because it's dark chocolate. Really am having a hard time coming up with gift ideas this year.

I have what I would have recognized three years ago as a non-specific viral infection, or, "a cold." To be treated with rest, liquids and saltwater gargling if I feel like it.
Some chicken soup might be in my future for dinner - canned, but it will work.

Monday at the office is turning into law administration day. I used to do real, billable work on Mondays. I am not certain what happened.
