Wrapped up my six show run as Santa in the Empire Arts Center's "Holiday Festival". Grueling! Had to sing and dance and then get chased around the stage by a couple ladies singing "Stay a little longer, Santa". If not for Mrs. Claus, I would have. They were cuties!

I like being in shows. And I like when they are over with.

Church search committees are unpredictable. I very much enjoyed our interview of a candidate today. Terrific person. There are a lot of them in the world.

I'm witnessing the collapse of the Warsaw Post Office. When I left last night at 9:15 (after failing to get all 300 parcels delivered on route 7) routes 7,8,26,& 72 all had between 1-3 days of accumulated undelivered mail in stacks so big you couldn't access the case if you wanted to start working on it.

7,8,25,26,& 72 all had carts of undelivered parcels.

Today route 21 goes on vacation, so his mail and parcels will start to back up.

Delivery that takes an hour in daylight takes about half again more in darkness, and it's dark by 6PM.

It feels like there may be no way to catch up.
