TASS? Think I’ll stick with AP and Reuters You can look it up on anything you want. In fact you should. It would indicate at least a minimum of interest in the guy we're spending billions of dollars supporting.

Putin looks a little frail in his recent photos.

Just because a news source exists does not mean it is valid. Perhaps if you sourced a story somewhere other than the official news agency of Russia it might be better accepted.

Are your fingers broken? I brought it up knowing everyone here will dismiss it out of hand, just because. The ultimate point, once again, is why the hell did we get talked into this in the first place? I know. It's because our military industrial complex needs to be fed. And they own DC.

No. Are yours? I don't follow your thought process.

A case can be cooked up that we are supporting a crooked bum. Not that hard to cook up a case. For or against anything. Cooks cook.
What is beyond the coloring of Cooker Uppers and Trumpy Tale Twisters however is what is stunningly apparent to even the blindest of eyes, the country of Ukraine is fighting its tail off to repel the Russian invaders... and they are fighting for Ukraine, not a regime.
And that is what we are supporting, Ukraine, not a regime.
The Cooker Uppers and Tale-Twisters have it all wrong. This war is not about Zelensky or whatever regime tales cooker uppers are cooking up. This war is about Ukraine and the fervent desire of the people of Ukraine to be free from Putin's heavy thumb. The Ukranians put the lie to the tales of the Cooker Uppers and Tale Twisters every day with their own blood as they fight a valiant fight against a monster foe four-times their size. They are shedding their own blood daily fighting for Ukraine and for their right to be free from Russia's control. Not a regime, Ukraine.
We have in the past gotten involved in wars by supporting regimes that did not have much support amongst the people they purported to represent, and results of such actions became as apparent as a blow to the head with a hard rock. (Vietnam, for one) Ukraine is a horse of a stunningly different color. We are not supporting a regime in Ukraine. We are supporting the Ukrainian people, people who are fighting a bear tooth and nail to be a people free from Putin's rule. And they are putting up a damn good fight. A damn impressive fight. On the soil of their sweet Ukraine they are whipping Russian ass.

Probably tough to get there with Zelenskyy on the perpetual, largely unaccountable, US led dole. Somebody ought to figure out how to turn off the corruption tap. But it will unlikely be Biden. He and his family are up to thier ass in international graft.

I remember reading the Fiona Hill piece but I don't know if it was here.
The Russians may be inept on the battlefield but they're still very good at manipulating public opinion in the US.

Thankfully the US as a whole pays attention to the world beyond your driveway.

Yeah,I'm sure every goat herder in the country wakes up every morning and checks the news to find out what Russia thinks the price of goat cheese should be.

This recent Timothy Snyder piece about gratitude to Ukrainians taught me yet another way to Anglicise the Ukrainian President's name amongst other things. Zelens'kyi. snyder.substack.com/p/gratitude-to-ukraineGood article I reckon. (His YouTube lecture series is now complete. I may have missed some. 🙂)
