As I said to my sister, "Don't make such a fuss, sissy." However, as my boulders are different from yours, I wish you the best of luck dealing with them today.
Today's Wordle killed my streak. Probably for the best, as the longer a streak goes on the more I get invested in prolonging it.
Lots of tax returns due next Tuesday, and I am plowing through some of them today.

Tote that barge. Lift that bale. I'll observe and offer helpful suggestions.
Good morning. I know I'm repeating myself but my renovated eyes are a treat. A few months back I was afraid I would have to quit driving at night altogether. Yesterday morning I left on an outing in the dark and had no problem. Then I drove east, towards the lightening sky, which used to be very problematic, and had no problem. Not everyone will have the same experience but mine has been terrific.
Wordle was indeed a bear. Enjoy your day.

Good day, looks like a week of mild winter weather here, highs right around freezing, no precip in sight, some sun, some clouds. Kind of like life. Interesting NFL weekend, Vikings soldier on somehow, Packers eliminated, Bears get a primo draft pick out of the deal. I woke up with a food craving that I will address with a takeout trip to the very nearby House of Wong for this:

Good morning, it's good to be back in Iowa where there is oxygen.
In a little while I'll get my day's activities started, beginning with a trip to the post office in Center Point, to pick up my mail that they've been holding for me.
Once my mail has been secured I'll be heading to the Family Restaurant in Vinton, then Fareway, then home.
This afternoon I'm going to set one of my guitars up with Nashville tuning, that should keep me entertained for a couple hours.

Rain today, no biking--and at least it's not snow. Web tells me it's 5.5c now, so low 40s.
Salads and soup for dinner but it was easy since the soup was the leftover from a big pot the other day.

After as perfect a January day as one could imagine yesterday and a good skinny ski outing it’s back to clouds and varying shades of grey. Oh well,I have a ton of shop work waiting.

Another gorgeous winter day in Tucson. Mr. H and I will go to a lunch meeting later with my retirees club. He likes to attend because it's a buffet. First he has a medical appointment and I have to deal with calling our Medicare supplement provider who, for some unknown reason, did not automatically bill our bank account. We have been with them for many years and have been on autopay all that time. They also recently "upgraded" their website and after days of trying to get logged in, I finally got in yesterday only to find that there is no place to see billing information or even what our premiums are. Grumble.

Good morning
8F - 33F partly cloudy.
Another day of having to take it very easy but I may attempt some very minor work just to kill the boredom. I'll start with that wreck of a kitchen and decide where to go from there.

The sun is shining. That’s a very odd thing for around here these days, but I am loving it.

It is always difficult to follow Dan's thought-provoking posts, but I will try.
Drizzly most of the day, and now it is blue skies. Hopefully, I will be home in time to take the dog for a daylight walk.
My wife called me from our beach house yesterday, telling me that the water heater was overflowing. Her talent is not with home repairs, or anything mechanical. I tried to coach her, via Skype, in turning off the water from the street, but that did not work. She turned off the power to the water heater, left a message for the city to turn off our water, and then drove home.
I don't know how this story will end but suspect that I will take Friday off from work and either play at being a plumber, or better yet, hire a professional. It is an old house and the plumbing is funky.

Went to the shop today under much duress. My wife (I think) had enough of me complaining about pain. I spent the day running from one end of the building to the other. Mostly with a limp and holding the spot where my sciatic nerve on the lower left side hurt in an attempt to get it to stop shooting down my left leg. Then suddenly around 2 o'clock this afternoon I realized it had just stopped.
While I'm still a little sore and the spot on my lower back is still significantly warmer than anywhere else, the massive pain has subsided for now. I hope it will continue that way for a bit, it is nice to walk in a fully upright position.
It hit 45 degrees here this afternoon, but it was still a very damp cold, so not as pleasant as the temp might imply.
