I've photographed them -- looking down the length of them on either side of the long driveway -- in every season. Yesterday I caught this view of the hundred maples (it's actually only 76. I had a parcel, so I counted as I drove up to the house).  As I have mention before, those trees immediately bring up an image of the European professional cycling spring classics in Northern France and Belgium. Especially Paris Roubaix. |
