Good morning. It's 62 in the backyard and should reach the 70s but it'll be somewhat windy. May can be worse. Today will include my Zoom social breakfast and then coffee this afternoon with a friend. Cats started bugging us to go out as soon as the birds started chirping, before sunup. They will come in from time to time for water or a bite. Doorman for cats season.
Got the truck parked in the neighbors drive, street sweeping today.
Shop time.

Whatever happened to just saying good morning? It’s alive and well here. Good morning! Hey man. Get off my lawn! Gutentag. The eye doc says it’s not time yet for cataract surgery on my other eye, so I’m up for the usual routine, morning coffee, a piece of toast, Wordle, more coffee with the old farts, and that’s about it. Stumbled across a new guitar store yesterday while looking at google maps that specializes in vintage Japanese instruments, Think Alvarez Yairi with old Brazilian. Cloudy, a bit chilly, warming up to the 60s.
Trying to motivate myself to go out and commence grinding concrete on the back porch. It seems certain Soundhooligans are trying to divert me by posting music by Jackson Browne, et al.

A nice, sunny day here. I'll be taking Sue to the airport this afternoon, so she can return home to Florida. It been a great 3 week visit, even if the weather didn't always cooperate.

Stumbled across a new guitar store yesterday while looking at google maps that specializes in vintage Japanese instruments, Think Alvarez Yairi with old Brazilian. I’m thinking David and I should check it out. David? While purging the pile of guitars I have I did save the well made Japanese ones. Couple of Yamaha, Alvarez and a few more that I don't remember the names but are very well made. I'll post those later. These are the ones worth doing something with, when/ if I get time. |
