Our local PO has the sign up for delivery and inside jobs, should I apply? If you're serious, it's a tough question to answer. Warsaw PO is a particularly bad place to work. We are one of the offices that is carrying all the Amazon for the entire area and it is close to killing us (but giving me very big pay checks as I work 75-85 hours a week and it's not even peak season. I had 3 14 hour days this week.) But I like the work. I like the independence of being on the route. It's far more mentally and physically challenging than I would have previously guessed. I'm in pretty good shape for a guy my age, but sometimes it's taking me to my limits. The money is only good because of the hours and the overtime. The base is a laughable $19.50 an hour. The clerk job has different demands, but it's also still far more physical than I had imagined. |
