Good morning Downey Bob & Bob Netflix documentary ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Have seen it. Nice intimate look at their family and the crazy film artistry of Robert Sr.

I did some yoga this a.m. and ten minutes later tweaked my back! Oh well, a good excuse to sit around playing guitar instead of yard work.

It's been sprinkling all day. Which has kept me from having to accomplish something outside. That is fine by me.

Looks like fun, Mike. That is the darkest "session lager" I have seen.

You won't regret it. When you look west over the Hudson, the sense of space you get is quite the relief from the canyons of Manhattan. The Palisades are the cliffs along the west bank of the Hudson.
After today, Erin said, "once again, Howard for the win." Great suggestion. There's work on the A train line, so we got off at 168th and bussed up to The Cloisters. After spending a good chunk of time wandering around the grounds, we decided to bus it all the way back so we could enjoy the passing city scenery. Tomorrow is TR Crandall's and Coney Island. What's that building in the Palisades picture?

Looks like fun, Mike. That is the darkest "session lager" I have seen. That’s because it wasn’t a Session. It was just in a Session glass. It was this: MAD HATTER BLACK LAGER Deceptively drinkable, the initial tastes of this black lager are a subtle, smooth pairing of caramel and chocolate malt flavors with an intriguing finish of dark cocoa. It goes down so smooth, it’s hard to have just one! It was tres yummy. We had lunch at the Full Sail pub in Hood River. I had a a Full Sail signature burger. It was VERY good. The next day a bunch of went to Carson and had lunch at Backwoods Brewery. 12 hour brisket Sammie. OMG…. Mike

Glad you enjoyed it.
That building across the river in New Jersey is (was?) a convent. I can't seem to find any other information about it. Of course, it could have been closed and renovated into condos...
Check the F, Q, and D trains on mta.com because there might also be track work. They all terminate at Stillwell Avenue in Coney Island, the main drag and large terminal there.
On edit: Slight delays Manhattan bound from Brooklyn on the D and F lines during the morning and evening rush hours. No alerts for the Q. If you're going to TR Crandall first, you can walk a couple of blocks south on Ludlow St., hang a left on Delancey St. (larger two-way) and the F station is about a block or so east. Or, walk farther down Ludlow to Grand, hang a right at Grand, and walk about three blocks to the Grand St. station where you can catch the D or the B. The D will take you to Coney. If you catch the B, you can transfer to the Q at Church Ave, in Brooklyn, on the same platform without trying to find your way at Atlantic Terminal.
If you walk to the Grand St. station, you'll get a little taste of the shops and street life in Chinatown.
