“Facebook and Instagram’s impact on kids: Attorneys general say the tech giant is harming children by knowingly designing features that addict children to its platforms. It also says Meta routinely collects data on kids under 13 without their parental consent, a violation of federal law. ••• Opinion: Social media’s business model has led companies to exploit children’s anxiety and obliterate their attention spans to keep them online as long as possible. It’s time for legislators to pass social media reforms”.
It seems to be very unpleasant
I found two newspapers - SF Chron and Washington Post

A pox. (But I do use the facebook) I check Facebook to see my friends and see architecture, nature, photographs. I'm mostly a shopper - I do come with response (make sure it's not of my data) But it's really ugly for kids - in Facebook and social media.
