Highs in the 90’s today. I turned 71 at midnight last night.
I would have turned my clock back so I could do another year of 70, but unfortunately Arizona doesn’t change clocks…damn.
Start the drops in the left eye for cataract surgery on Wednesday afternoon. It'll be nice to get that over with.

Another beautiful, 68 degree, day here.
I gotta have the Prius at the shop for scheduled service at 10:30.
Yesterday I used my new Milwaukee, battery powered, pruning chain saw, to prune a bunch of trees. I really like that thing, light, powerful and well balanced. And the battery just seems to last forever.

Well here goes. A daily post. I'm back  The last three months have witnessed major life changing health events for both myself and Pat but we are starting to accept this new reality to some degree. Posting on the forum is one of the last triggers I faced that confirms our new life is what it is and like it or not it's time to get on with it. While not quite doing handstands I am much better than I was a month ago. Pat is coping reasonably well herself. We still have a long road ahead but are facing it with cautious optimism. |

While not quite doing handstands Well, handstands are overrated anyway. As are pushups, chinups, crunches, and squat-thrusts. Sufficient unto the day are the exertions thereof. Very happy to see a post. BTW, I have been sitting in at Bo Diddley's with Brother John Hanson of St. Ben's Abbey and his nice Kennedy guitar. They both sound quite good. |
