Good morning. I keep a running to-do list to keep myself from spacing out and missing something important. Today all it says is to thaw some ground beef. I think I can handle that.
It'll be 40s-60s here. A lot of people here are dealing with ailments and body repairs. Good wishes to all of you.

Slept like a log last night-residual anesthesia, I suppose. Another dreary rainy day. I prefer dreary rainy to cold and snowy, of course. Forecast is for more of the same all next week with temperatures in the 40s. Enjoy what can and ignore the rest.

Good morning. Sunny day, supposed to get up into the low 80's this afternoon. Today is our granddaughter Moras 3rd birthday. We're going to "Christmas at the Zoo" with her and the rest of the family later today in Tampa. They do this every year, turn the zoo into Santas village with animals. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning.
19F-37F mostly sunny.
A little kitchen cleanup duty before shop time. DaWife is on another vacation week as she needs to use them up before she retires. This week is one she paid for, yup they allow her to buy a extra week of vacation. Use it or lose it.

Started out at 42F this morning with some fog over our tiny neighborhood lake. We'll be going to the grand re-opening of the Fort Lowell Museum in Fort Lowell Park. It has been renovated during the pandemic. There will be re-enactments, a brass band, a regimental band, a cavalry demonstration, tours of some nearby historic buildings, and free museum entry. We can walk to the Park from our house, but it's across a busy street. Not sure whether we'll walk or drive.
Working on our Christmas card/letter/email list. I keep trying to remove people who probably don't care anymore from the list. Mr. H keeps wanting to leave them on for one more year.

Morning. Raining like heck here. As in multiple inches. We have plans for the kids to come over and supposed to head off to a Xmas tree farm and get a tree, and they were going to help decorate it and have dinner with us. However, the weather is not cooperrating, uncertain of how to proceed. I guess I’ll wait for Nita to tell me what I’m doing.
Been having fun messing with Octopuss’s Garden and Paxton’s The Marvelous toy on the guitar. The new strings have settled in nicely.
That’s all from from th Pacific Wet North West.

Pretty manageable errand list today -- post office, gas fillup (down to $2.75!), Trader Joe's and a stop at Culver's to satisfy a craving for one of these bad boys:

Great Caesar's ghost! I slept until 7:50 this morning. What a feeling.
Currently 49°F with a predicted high of 50° here, cloudy, drizzling, with some late-night rain coming.
I have no plans for today except dinner with friends tonight. I think I am going to just goof off and enjoy this free time. The teen is going to see the new Hunger Games film with a friend, which means I will be able to sit in the living room and play guitar since the TV will be off. Wahoo!
Also, good-bye, George Santos! Here is a celebratory dance from Stan and Ollie.

That's interesting. I suppose he's the one printing, addressing envelopes, stuffing them, applying postage and placing in the post?

Morning!
Just got off the phone ordering 14 dozen sliced buns from Hugo's Bakery for our annual Second Wind Christmas Concert on Tuesday (we like to get it out of the way early). In return for listening to us, we feed our audience. Everyone brings something. My job is bringing the buns for the barbeque. It's quite a responsibility, but I'm good at it.

Yep. Sloppy Joes. We love our audiences, but there are limits.

(but they will have about 12 different types of casseroles to sample. And bars. Man alive, will there be bars.)

Damp and gray at the coast. Looking forward to MO’s clam chowder this afternoon.

Post-errands, I'm reading op-eds from a variety of online newspapers I visit daily, with the Hero World Challenge on in the background, featuring just about all of today's top golfers. Tiger Woods is playing, and looking quite good and walking comfortably. Very warm in the Bahamas, say the announcers.

The girls got me a Culver's Rueben Thursday night, yummy. I order mine w/o the 1,000 Island dressing, which seems like overkill, and I add raw red onion for some sweet crispness.
