Good morning. For the next week we'll have about 45-70 degrees with sunshine, which is close to normal.
In a little while I'll leave for an outing to some BLM land north of Phoenix that has pretty good saguaro cacti. This evening there's a church service with a piece of music that is somehow based on Wendell Berry's poems. That piques my curiosity enough that I'll go. Besides, my wife will be singing.
Nothing else on tap. Enjoy your day.

Good morning. Overcast this morning with rain predicted for this afternoon. Gotta get my bike ride in before noon. Claire's got a massage client later today. Outside of that there's armored rugby to observe and some General Tsao style chicken to prepare for dinner this evening. Have a great day everyone.

Off to Amazon. If things are going like they have the past few days, I will be in overtime by Monday (the work week starts on Saturday).
I gotta get my Farida J45 set up. I don't know what's changed, but it's become very hard to play -- especially without a capo. Maybe it's my fingers that have changed, but the OT22 isn't giving me the same problem. I wanna play the J45. I like its voice.

Truss rod adjustment, perhaps? I see Elderly has an OT-22 for sale @ $450. 1&3/4 in nut.
It turned cold for 24 hours or so. Overcast & dreary, which seems to be the usual weather lately. Cookie baking season has arrived. Samples available for a small charge.

Good morning
22F-30F mostly cloudy.
Breakfast with the girls, they didn't invite themselves for a change. Then the usual grocery shopping and later I have one of my touring clients coming by to drop off a guitar that he will pickup as he comes back though town next week. Just a pickup install.
DaWife is back to work Tuesday and has then used up all her vacation time for this year. I don't think she will take any vacation time, unless mandatory, in 2024 as she will retire in June and will rack up as much overtime as possible.
100 Days Until Spring.

Currently 54° in Brooklyn, going up to an unseasonable 59° with rain on the way. My weekly lunch-ingredient shopping trip is about to happen, then laundry, then...?
Looking gloomy outside right now.

Morning all. You may bow to the Wordle slayer. Had a GREAT dinner last last night, at Kelly and Todd’s house. Fun party. When Nita was growing up, she lived in a neighborhood with a bunch of girl kids, and these kids basically lived in each others homes, and have remained friends to this day. Kelly was one of those kids, and just happens to be a fabulous cook. Her husband Todd, is a Emmy award winning video photog and producer for OPB. I snapped a picture of his Emmys. Crazy eh? Anyway, a fun time, which was proceeded by a bourbon tasting. Bulleit single barrel is beyond scrumptious. Heading over to the daughters house later to help her with Xmas lights, and that’s it for the day. Mike Wordle 904 2/6 ⬜⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

I just spent an hour getting my case humidifiers all placed. The weather hasn’t been bad but the furnace is on and humidity varies from room to room and even in different places in the same room. I have been playing for 60 years and never had a problem and I would like to keep it that way. I should clarify. I’ve never had a guitar problem. I have had plenty of other problems and humidity won’t help those.😉

I just got a spendy multi-instrument, centrally monitored and automatically regulated humidistat with multiple independent wireless feeds for my collection of trombones. Then I learned that brass instruments aren't sensitive to humidity. Rats.
It's for sale. Will cut a deal, only $799.99.

I’ve been alive and I did some writing and a lot of things I haven’t done much so I think I need to do some thing like get vertical and get some food.
It’s my Sunday “silence and solitude and solo”
Enjoy your days
Post Script: actually, I didn’t do any editing I think my syntax is not perfect

Trombones probably rust from the inside out. I have never had to blow spit out of my guitar. Beer once and mustard once(hot dogs were served at a Lions Club picnic at which I played and an inebriated listener got too close) but never spit.

The email are a "anonymous" soul re: the silence and the ban......
Hi, Bob.
I wasn’t thinking of banning you. I like your posts and I think of you as a valued member.
It’s just that quoting without citing the source is called plagiarism and it gets everybody’s hackles up.
You’ve been really good about citations, just keep up the good work.

One of 2 teams I have a genetic dislike for. The other is a baseball team. Y’all know who I’m sure.

Well I just had some lunch or dinner - potatoes and carrots. Next I'm going to a movie - Harris Goes to Paris and I've already listened to some music. That's a positive day..... Oh also I did some writing - normal the day.

I humidify the whole house. Especially my office/guitar room. It's a daily ritual to fill portable unit tanks. Plus the HVAC system has a whole house humidifier cranked to the max.
