Good morning. I've had a cup of coffee and my daily dose of gloom from the New York Times. I've also gone mano-a-mano with Wordle. I'm not sure what to do next.

Coyotes were howling close by again last night. Sounded like 3 of them. This could prove interesting for the owners of the little puffy dogs. I got Wordle in two yesterday. I don’t doubt that Vivian did. Lots to do today. First, coffee.

Good morning. Cloudy and cool here in Spring Hill. I'm gonna finally get off my ass and mow the lawn today, not much else to report.

Good morning all! I've been in Florida for the last couple weeks, got home yesterday. Now it's time to focus on getting ready for Christmas. This morning I went to print a short letter to an old friend who is going through some hard times and found my big computer unoperable. Windows Edge can't open any of my files. Not the Christmas surprise I was thinking of. Just another tiny bump on life's road.

Good morning. Year end donations are done. For the first time since the beginning of Covid in 2020 we have cleared week 1 on the production schedule and lead times are down from 26 weeks to 15 weeks. So now I have something different to worry about. Yay!

Good morning. 36F-42F cloudy. As things stand at this moment I don't have to go out today. That means a nice breakfast and then down to the shop until lunch time. I have my old Cargo back in for some work. It has seen a bit of the world since I sold it years ago. Buddy Donn got it from me and after a year or so sold it to country singer/songwriter Jon Vezner. He had it in Nashville and toured around with it then ended up selling it back to Donn at some point. Now it resides on the shores of Rainy Lake in MN. All it needs is a new graphite nut which I have OEM stock of and it will reside with me while Donn winters in California and Hawaii. Eric Gnedza playing the Cargo while on tour with Jon.

A lot of people have had trouble with Windows in the last few days. One guy missed our Zoom social breakfast because Windows had been upgraded during the night and he couldn't connect with the Zoom call. I now suspect that this is what caused my unwanted reboot, and loss of unsaved data, two nights back. Apparently Microsoft decided to improve things without warning or explanation.

Morning all. I’ve got big plans for the day. BIG plans. And as soon as the boss tells me what I’m doing, I’ll know what they are.

I work today, I don't tomorrow. Getting the oil changed in the state car is part of my job, so here I sit, waiting.

Last night C's voice went hoarse. This morning she tested Covid positive, so in an hour or so we'll both be on the five-day Paxlovid train. (I started last night--that metallic-taste thing was the first sign I'd taken the pill.) At least I don't have to sleep on the sofa any more.

Russell, I hope that you both get over this quickly. I know some people who have said that the Paxlovid is worse than COVID.
Extra choir rehearsal tonight and it starts at 6P and goes way too long. We would have had to be eating dinner at 4:30, so instead decided to skip dinner and went out for pho for lunch. Good stuff on a sort of chilly day.
Nothing much planned to fill in the rest of the afternoon. Still need to do our walk. Kind of noisy around here the last few days as the people who bought the house next door are having the roof redone.

Looks fab, but I haven’t a clue what the green gunk is.

I'm guessing that the green gunk is not wasabi. Looks like that old British favorite, mushy peas.

I was wondering the same thing.
It's English. Mashed peas? Help, James?

As Hobson figured, mushy peas. Dried marrowfat peas soaked with some baking soda, boiled and usually canned. Not an especially thrilling food.

I saw this Fish&Chip with newspaper in England. I really like this haddock fish with vinegar. I've been to England probably a few times and I've never seen the mushy peas. I've seen some veges - too many minutes in the stove in England of course... Either wife/girlfriend is drinking some wine or she doesn't like her husband/"boyfiend". So the man is probably at the pub. So if there is any somebody is ringing make sure he's not here "Jack" isn't there mates? You’re some more green - liquid or gravy or softener Look at that Schnozzola - She needs some nosejob and hair bangs - Chef's daughter (the picture is just fantasy anyway)
