Marty, be cautious. Even a negative test does not mean that Covid is finished with you. We followed the recommended protocol and tested negative twice over 48 hours--and then had symptoms and positive tests return on Christmas eve. Our doctor's recommendation was to restart the isolation clock and then mask for another five days after testing negative.
Covid is a persistent and tricky virus, and the current variation is apparently quite infectious, if somewhat less deadly than the original. Do not underestimate it.

Good morning, folks. I'll visit the dentist this morning to have a small cavity filled. This afternoon I'll assist with the removal a pornography exhibit at out church, to be followed soon (I hope) by the installation of another one. That's it for a to-do list. Have a good day. ... I think I could like your church. Do you have a place for trombones in your praise band? I had to scroll back up just to see if maybe i mis-read Don's original post. Glad to see you got it right.

Another day of work while the rest of the shop is closed. But it's not strenuous, just brain-taxing. Figure out what X and Y are, and what the operators are. A (?) X (?) Y = D. And the value you have for D might or might not be correct. I do enjoy the pleasure of arriving at an answer. Dang guvmint ! Now their taxing brains. (Good thing I got a small one).

Rain and sprinkles moved in. Snows all but gone. Slept some more and the illness is passing. On to other things.

Unbelievable. As if it weren't enough for my friend to lose her mother the day before Christmas and two days before her birthday: while my wife and I were sitting on the Metro North train to Westchester, waiting to pull out of Grand Central Terminal in eight more minutes, a text came in from our friend telling us she and her husband both have COVID and wouldn't be at the wake this afternoon or the funeral tomorrow. The two of them are really the only people from her family we know at all. So we just came home.
Talk about bad luck, mister. I feel so bad for them.
