Good morning, folks. I'll visit the dentist this morning to have a small cavity filled. This afternoon I'll assist with the removal a photography exhibit at out church, to be followed soon (I hope) by the installation of another one. That's it for a to-do list.
Have a good day.

Cold and frosty out there this morning. Family gathering last night and another of Friday and then we get back to normal, peaceful living. Enjoy the day.

Another day of work while the rest of the shop is closed. But it's not strenuous, just brain-taxing. Figure out what X and Y are, and what the operators are. A (?) X (?) Y = D. And the value you have for D might or might not be correct. I do enjoy the pleasure of arriving at an answer.

From an NY Times article on Bill's neck of the woods:
One upside of this strange winter is the absence of a particular type of constituent complaint that starts as early as November, [Jacob Frey, the Mayor of Minneapolis], said. “We are super proud of our record low in snow plowing complaints,” he joked. “Our plow drivers have been so fast and effective; they’ve been trying out a new strategy and it’s clearly working.”

Good morning. Another day of vacation will be spent doing the deep dive into "R"-word information and getting my act together on that. This afternoon we will be attending a wake for the mom of a friend of ours. Her mom died the day before Christmas and two days before our friend's birthday, which is on the 26th. Even though she had been in steep decline for a couple of years, it always seems to be a hard pill for the surviving family to swallow. Add to that a major holiday and a birthday... Plus, the weather is perfectly gloomy here today. Cloudy and gray right now with rain in the forecast for this afternoon and evening. 44°, going to a high of 50° later. I'm about to make some coffee and toast. The kid has had a bad cold all week and is still asleep, wife is in the park with her dog, so it's momentarily quiet. Have a pleasant day, hug your loved ones.

Good morning. Cool and dreary here in Florida. I'm going shopping later, that's my big event for the day. Have good ones.

After several days of gray misty fog and rain we now have a light blanket if white stuff with mire light flurries through the day.
Woke up with a slightly sore throat, so today's get together with friends to play some music has been canceled.

Good morning.
29F-36F mostly sunny.
I have to run an errand or two today but since I haven't been out of the house since Saturday I'm due.
If Kaiah and Zaria test negative we will see them this evening to open presents.

A nice snow falling straight down with no wind. I actually kind of like it compared to the Blade Runner weather we have had.

Our new mail trucks have arrived. Our carriers didn't get the funky oversized-brainmobiles like I've seen are the next LLV; they got what look to be minivans. As a result, almost all of the mailboxes in our neighborhood are too short. My carrier said most of them aren't a problem, but it would be best if they were all 48" high instead of 38" - 42" as most of them seem to be. As I was planning on repainting or replacing mine, I might end up with a super tall (48") this Spring.

Cold and clear, enjoying sun whilst we can.
Hanging around the house all day. Eldest granddaughter and friend will be returning from a sleepover soon, the other three granddaughters and their tired Dad will arrive thereafter to spend the afternoon and evening.
We realized yesterday that this is just the beginning of holiday break for kids in school. Daughter and DIL are working extra crazy shifts so there will be a lot of grandkid time.

It’s raining here. The forcast is for rain, followed by rain, then, finally, more rain.
Had a fun time yesterday playing games and munching on Appetizers at the Son in laws Moms house. Today we have nothing, but there are left overs in the fridge so I don’t have to cook, and there are movies on Netflix and games on the iPad and that plus a nap should take care of the day.

UPDATE! Looks like Kaiah and Zaria will be over this evening for opening presents. Last known, to me, dinner plans were that the girls were cooking. BUT! as of a few moments ago they decided to order in pizza, YES! When they cook they tend to use a whole lot of pans and utensils and do not tidy things up as they cook. So everything they used is left for me to either put away or clean. I don't mind paying for pizza instead of cleaning up after them, done that for too many years already. EDIT: Them deciding to order pizza had no disclosure of whom was paying for it. But like them inviting themselves to breakfast I'll assume I'm paying.

Good morning, folks... This afternoon I'll assist with the removal of a pornography exhibit at our church, to be followed soon (I hope) by the installation of another one. That's it for a to-do list. Have a good day. ... I think I could like your church. Do you have a place for trombones in your praise band?

If we ever get a praise band, I'll insist that trombones be included.

A few snow flurries this morning. The plumber has been here and gone, I'll be getting a new pressure tank for my water system on Friday. I've been fighting computers all morning, my big tower computer decided to die at Thanksgiving. Got it revived enough to retrieve all my data, but not all my programs. I've been jumping back and forth between 3 different computers to accomplish anything. My New computer will arrive Friday!
