Yesterday was the first time I heard of this player, courtesy of a phone conversation with the former Copy Chief of SI Kids, a wonderful guitar player himself with whom I worked for 15 years.
Moreno is a very interesting player. I can't figure out 90% of what he's doing!

Amazing skill level but whatever his music is trying to say isn’t apparent to me. Jazz speaks musically to me and so does classical. All this says to me is “look what I can do.”

Yes. My musical intellect isn't advanced enough to comprehend this. But the carpal tunnel chords are impressive.

There's a phrase that English teachers use for a particular kind of student essay: "word salad."
Allow me to suggest "lick salad."

Great music in search of a context.

I like the sound of the guitar and pickup. It's a simple Dimarzio Black Angel soundhole mag pickup with a nice microphone out front of the guitar. Very meaty jazzy sounding.
