Good morning.
Daughter takes her SAT exam today. She did a practice test last night (it's all online now) and scored a combined 1520. I think she'll do alright. Making her a special breakfast.
Rainy day in New York.
Wishing you a good day, one and all.

Hope is a smart young woman, Howard.
Good morning, everyone. It's Holy Week and there are services at our church every day of the week. I'm not holy enough to go that often but the choir has frequent duty, so my wife is there a lot. Two of the Easter services are scheduled to be outdoors. The National Weather Service is now predicting a 90 percent chance of rain on Sunday so I think those services will be moving indoors. I'm glad I'm not in the clergy.
Today will include my weekly Zoom breakfast and and a trip to buy groceries. Have a good day.

Rocky goes in today for his 1 week checkup after his eye surgery. He is seeing quite well, but today for the first time he showed no interest in eating. I am convinced that it is the steroids that he is on. While they should increase his appetite, they are doing the opposite because it's effecting his liver. When he was on them from his autoimmune disorder, they wreaked havoc on his body. So seeing the vet today is the perfect time to get his meds adjusted and get the steroid tapering started.

Good morning. Rain overnight, clearing up this morning and we're heading into a what looks like a very nice weather weekend.
Yesterday I was taking some pictures with my new camera and I hit a button somewhere that put it into a weird mode so that I can't view the picture thru the viewfinder. There are a lot of features on this camera and I am just barely at the beginning of the learning curve. I'll be digging into the manual to try and figure it out. Technology, great when it works, otherwise very frustrating......
Outside of that I've got the Audubon monthly meeting tonight and a bike ride this afternoon. Have a great day.

Sunny and chilly ahead of a rainy Eastertide. Off to work out on the boring weight machines. Bluetooth headphones make it bearable.
Last class in the James Taylor series this afternoon. It has been interesting but I think I will have learned all I want to know about JT.

Good morning.
15F-36F sunny.
Yesterday was a BAD day. Started out okay and I figured I just might be on the downside of whatever this bug is, nope. Right after posting the daily my breakfast came up and I spent most of the day back in bed. But I did notice that my stomach problem coincided with my usual upset tummy due to meds. Usually two Tumms take care of that but not yesterday, I went into ballistic upchuck mode. So today I didn't take that med and may switch it to the evening dose. Simon and Riley don't mind, they get to sleep all day with me, I do mind as I have lots to do and not getting it done. It's been over an hour since I took meds and no upset tummy so I'm hopeful.

I have a feeling that Hope benefits from some nice genes passed down from you all, but there's a bunch of self-determination in there as well. She is one smart cookie (or whatever she chooses to bake). Marty, I hope you get to feeling better. kenlarsson, you will figure out your camera issue. I do stuff like that all the time with mine. A work day before perhaps a day off. I have a great tax accounting joke about taking earned holidays and PTO, but it's only funny if you've been working with ASC 740 for a while.

Didn't make it to Costco yesterday so that's on for today. We did go out for Chinese food at a place we hadn't been to before. That makes Chinese restaurant number 8 that we've tried in Tucson and none have been great. A couple are OK and at least two have been bad. When we asked a neighbor long ago he said his favorite was Panda Express. That might not be a bad choice considering what we've found

A bright, sunny morning, temps going up, wind going down.
I'm just home from Vinton, got a much needed haircut and picked up a couple things at Fareway. Didn't try to stop to see Todd, I believe he has an appointment in CR today.
This afternoon I'm going to grill some chicken hind quarters. I don't usually buy them, but a week ago, Fareway had them on sale for just over $1.00 per pound, I couldn't resist.
