I was listening to the George Harrison album "All Things Must Pass" recently, and have been thinking about him, his musical and spiritual legacy, and what he could have contributed to the Beatles had they given him more opportunity.
Some of you old-timers may remember Keith "Rockerbob" Lewis. He was a good friend of another former forumite, Doc Froon. I just listened to the song Keith had written not long after he learned of Harrison's death. I had forgotten about this song, and how haunting it is, as well as it being perhaps one of the most beautifully crafted tribute songs I can recall. The Harrison-esque slide guitar solo still gets me a little choked up—it sounds so authentic.
'Tis your lucky day, because I found Keith's YouTube channel, and this video was re-uploaded a year ago. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
(Won't upload here.)

I remember Kieth. It was a treat to hear them play together. They were in sync with one another. I have not seen Froon for years now. He is was a great and generous guy.

Believe it or not, they had some sort of falling out and haven't spoken to each other in years, as far as I know. Keith's songwriting is on my A-list.

Froon worked for Batdorf and Bronson. I used to buy coffee from them & we would say hello to each other when orders went in. I always loved Dancing Goats blend.
