My artist friend has posted this on facebook. A professor at a major Florida University has responded positively to it (liked it). When did we gain the ability to turn Mars into Earth? Unless this is some sort of satire and I'm not getting it, this strikes me as only slightly more insane than flat eartherism (and I can only hope, just as rare).

It has to be true if you see it on the Internet.
"The Flat Earth Society mans the guns against oppression of thought and the Globularist lies of a new age. Standing with reason we offer a home to those wayward thinkers that march bravely on with REASON and TRUTH in recognizing the TRUE shape of the Earth - Flat.

Where does the water come from? There is supposedly water at the poles but that would not be anywhere near enough to create a Earth like eco system.

So many problems with attempting to put a colony on Mars, let alone turn it into Earth. No, we can't turn Mars into Earth now and probably never will be able to. I recently read and highly recommend the book, "A City on Mars" by Kelly and Zach Weinersmith. He's the cartoonist who does Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. She's a scientist. It's a good read and brings up lots of problems that I never thought about. www.acityonmars.com/

If we have the power to turn Mars into a large, furry rabbit...
Then obviously we have the power to turn Earth into a large, furry rabbit.
