My Dad was the navigator of the first big bomber over Normandy Beach on D-Day. Also participated in the firebombing of Dresden. Would say he was glad he never saw a face of one of the hundreds of people his bomber participated in killing.

Evan, I don't read disagreeing with someone, even on the political stage, necessarily equates with animus. So, this phrase "I disagree;" I do not think it means what you think it means. 😃

I don't feel picked on, Evan. I had to look up the definition of "animus." The Cambridge Dictionary defines it as "a feeling of hate or anger toward someone or something." I don't hate anyone. I can get angry but it doesn't happen a lot and it subsides pretty quickly. I don't have negative feelings towards anybody just because they disagree with me.
