The Strib has a portal where readers can cite errors worthy of our printing a correction. Most have merit, and we follow through, but I would say that about 25% are bogus, like this one:

Your piece about Hunter Biden (Asso. Press) has BEAU BIDEN listed as being in the photo with Hunter, Joe and Melissa.
BEAU IS DEAD!!!!
Maybe I should volunteer as a pro bono editor/proofreader?
Except the kid is indeed Beau Biden, Hunter's son, named after Hunter's late brother.
