My wife’s 14 year old Prius is about to hit 300k and we are not close to retiring it yet. That is an average of 21,000-plus miles a year! Where the hell does she go? Bill, I don't know how familiar you are with the Northeast, but you have to drive forever to get anywhere. No wait, that's the Midwest. Nevermind.

That van looks really nice and clean (and no rust showing where it would matter). And you are better off with the gas engine. Those Toyota fours of that generation were amazingly reliable engines often running well north of 200,000 miles (some into 300K territory) (the diesels were good, but not a lot of fun in winter. and if parts are needed, parts for the gas are more common and cheaper.) Yup. My wife’s Prius is just a squeak under 300K and runs like a top.
