Good morning. Up a bit early to head over to Kelly's to look after the grandkids. Kelly's working and RJ worked late last night so we're taking the kids to let him get some sleep this morning. After that I'll probably take a nap as I had a restless night last night. Oh well.
Have a great day.

Good morning. It'll be a hot day but there's a 40 percent chance of showers tonight. I hope we get some.
I'll be going to our botanical garden at 6:00. It's a good place. I haven't been there in a while.
Peace.

Good morning. T-storms coming this way today.
Last day of June. Hard to believe I have been retired for three months now. I don't miss that job or that company. I found out that the two managers who were in charge of the blog I edited have been removed from the group, and one of the other writing managers has been given the helm, and reports to a manager way over the heads of Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum. I feel vindicated.
(Except that my woman hasn't left me.)
Have a pleasant day, folks. Coffee coming up.

Good morning.
52F-74F sunny.
We will do our usual breakfast and shopping routine today but the shopping will be minimal as we are fairly well stocked. I will attend a party at Molly's Farm in North St. Paul and listen to buddy Milo play. It's a organic and CBD products farm. This all means I will get a nap before if there is time or a rather late nap, but I want my nap.

Indeed, you are so right. It is tricky bucking more than half a century of Gotfryd grudge indoctrination, but I am trying. 😀

Back from two very pleasant hours at the botanical garden. It was cloudy. That provided better light for photography and more comfort for the geezer operating the camera.

Clouds are nature's light diffusers for outdoor photography. Soft light is great, although less contrasty for b&w photos, but that can be compensated. It makes colors beautiful too.

Fiveordled. Oddly my second guess was much closer, but I deleted it and went another direction.
This may be the most beautiful day of the year so far. The dog is walked and I'm getting ready to cut the grass.
I ended up with a 1996 Toyota Town Ace, right hand drive, Japanese import with 48,000 miles. It's got one glitch I've got to solve -- it only runs when the air conditioner is on. Otherwise, it's just about as perfect a mail truck as I could hope for.

Looking forward to a family barbeque today - reverse sear steak. We will be celebrating a belated Father's Day and the end of eldest son's family's recent bought of hand, foot and mouth disease, a nasty virus (thank you, day care).
I constructed bamboo trellises for our indeterminate tomatoes yesterday. It was nice to use stuff growing in our yard, especially as it would otherwise be cut up and thrown in the mulch bin.

I've gotten coffee, hit Trader Joe's for essentials and Morelli's for vino, provolone and Genoa salami. Getting ready to head over to PittieQ BBQ to try one of their burgers -- if they are anywhere near as good as their ribs and brisket, I'll be a happy feller. p.s. The Austrian Grand Prix was unexpectedly exciting this morning. Too bad Howard missed it!

Sunny and Cool. Currently 69 degrees at 12:30 PM. (82 in my greenhouse with one vent open). 71 is the projected high. A perfect day to do far more work than I am interested in doing. But, I will do some. Maybe.

Do you have the turbo diesel? No, just the 4 cylinder.
