Storms are on the way today, I suspect I'll be on a treadmill at the rec center today instead of walking in the rain outside.

My hike in the mountain preserve was very pleasant. The desert cools off a lot more than pavement and tile roofs do. I felt a short puff of cool air.

I'm looking into the feasibility of replacing my lawn with artificial turf. And you can get it in different colors now, which is kind of cool.

Morning! I'm looking into the feasibility of replacing my lawn with artificial turf. And you can get it in different colors now, which is kind of cool. I’d pass on the plaid if I were you. Morning. Going to be stupid hot here later. Heading over to the Apple Store this am, with the wife to get her a new iPad mini. Her ten year old one died and we spent three days trying to charge it and bring it back to life but it seems well and truly dead. So… In other really annoying news, we recieved a bill from the Toll roads agency in S Calif saying we owed them like twenty dollars for using a toll road last March in my Moms old Mercedes. Only the date was three days after we sold it to CarMax. So we sent them the documentation and that should have been the end of it, right? Nope, now the fine is over three hundred bucks and they are threating to turn it over to collections. We are going to call them again today, (3rd time) and if I have to I’ll sue them. I’d rather spend a couple of thousand bucks on an attorney than get jerked around by a bueracracy who can’t find its butt with a magnifying glass. Mike |

It's a beautiful day and I'm back home in Iowa, exhausted but it was a great weekend in Wisconsin.
I'll admit I'm a gear head, motor head, who likes hi performance machines. Yesterday, me, my daughter and Granddaughter went to a waterski show in Madison, put on by the Mad-City Ski Team. It was on Lake Manona, and the water was rough. Not the best show, but enjoyable.
I like to watch the tow boats, they used 5 in the show yesterday. 2 Mastercraft inboards and 3 outboards. The 2 biggest boats are 22 ft, low profile, outboard ski boats and they each had three, 300 hp outboard motors. I think the biggest act they pulled was a 46 person pyramid, no problem with 900 hp on the boat.

Perfect day here. Walked early, played 18 holes with my oldest kid after and it was a lot of fun.

I was up at 4:00, couldn't get back to sleep. So I got up, took a walk, and went into work. Lucky guess on Wordle.

PT was exceptionally tiring today. I was there for an hour and twenty minutes of non-stop torture. Once it was over and I iced down for 15 minutes I actually felt pretty good. I still took a nap when I got home!
The rest of the day is a blur.
