Came across these wood storks hanging out on a roof yesterday during my bike ride. Have a great day folks. What do wood storks bring, firewood, kindling?BBQ

I'm on Muriel Anderson's mailing list and she mentioned her carbon fiber harp guitar. What a good application of carbon fiber -- strong, light, weatherproof. Hers is made by Emerald.

Another Podium story. Costumer wanted a to buy a small Huss & Dalton to use on his boat they were sailing around the world. I warned him he would have to keep the guitar in its case and clean it often. I ended up selling him a Cargo and a dozen sets of Elixir strings. Told him to wrap each set in plastic wrap to protect them until needed and wipe the guitar down with Windex every once in a while.

The people I worked for at my last job, the retail company, thought this was the proper way to spell it. And they had the cojones to question me when I corrected them.
We let you slide because we love you. 💖

Good morning. 64F-87F sunny. Shop work for most of the day. Been thinking about one last batch of string winders as I have collected some nice wood. Walnut, maple, wenge and maybe some other woods. They are a Lot of work and a lot of time spent getting all the little parts that are needed. But it's been a few years since I've made any and some parts may be available in bulk online now. In the past I would clean out several hardware stores to get enough parts. Still thinking, it's a lot of work and once started it dominates my shop. Nothing else gets done. I thought of this after my nap. No I am not bringing string winders to IJ. At the rate I work these days it would take me two days or more per winder. Just a passing thought because I see that pile of scrap wood every day.

Most of Oregon seems to be burning, except the North coast, where I am. Fun day riding yesterday. Windy roads, little traffic, and 62 F - perfect for riding. I made it to Ipswitch Boat landing on my little Honda.
A relaxing evening with a vodka screwdriver and a couple Jesse Stone movies.
Today I had nice walk on the beach with Mrs. David and our dog, a fish and chips dinner at McMennimens with Terminator Stout. A nice couple of days
