I had to look Selfoss up. It's an important town in southern Iceland, known for its strategic location, scenic surroundings, and vibrant community. Selfoss is situated on the banks of the Ölfusá River. It is approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) southeast of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Sounds downright tolerable.
Good morning everyone. This morning we'll attend the investiture of a priest who is a friend. The ceremony will be overly long but it's a happy occasion.
Have a good day, one and all.

So hot. Went to the shop to stage items for the big move Christine and Thomas have stored there.
Notebook paper fell out of a side table. Turned out to be letters Christine wrote to mom and Andrew after their deaths. Extremely raw, hurt, tender, angry, sweet, loving. Took it right out of me.

Good morning. We're under a tropical storm watch. I've been anxious about this hurricane season and here we are. This one shouldn't be too bad. Lot's of rain. I'm going to make sure the yard is cleaned up before it passes through Sunday.
Have a great day.

Good morning.
62F-88F sunny.
Saturday shop to start my day but not sure anyone will stop by. Doesn't matter as I have plenty to do. Going to a guitar builders and repair show in South St. Paul this afternoon.

It looks like it'll be a warm, sunny afternoon for our gig in Brandon.
Interesting, this weekend both Urbana and Brandon are having their town's summer celebrations. The towns are only about 10 miles apart.

Morning!
Listening to thunder as I coffee. Cool front is approaching. A little rain would be fine. The coming break in the heat will be wonderful. Man, I can't believe how fast I'm typing. Nowhere near the speed of Gus, Anna, or Charlene... they fly with fingers a blur. But, for me, I just amazed myself.

Excellent growing season in Indiana. My first attempt at growing eggplants has been a huge success.

They look a little yellow, Rob. Maybe they need nitrogen.

Back from an excellent lunch at El Burrito Mercado on Cesar Chavez Street in St. Paul. Two carnitas tacos, beans and rice, plus a really tasty margarita.

Nice win by Remco complete with the drama of a flat and a bike change in the final kilometers. Silver and Bronze to France. Not quite sure how that happened given the strength of the field. I’ll have to read the post mortem.
Lunch with an old friend, hot day ahead.
Had a nice gig in a town near Alexandria last night. We had a guy who taught trumpet at St John’s/St Ben’s for 30 years sit in. He was awesome.

I was making fun of what I thought was careless wording (as I am wont to do, both making fun and careless wording) and it turns out it wasn't the case. I assumed you were checking your own glucose, not KT checking hers. Sorry!
