Good morning. It's medical week. Yesterday I had a colonoscopy. Today it'll be a nuclear stress test and other festivities at the cardiologist's office. It's good to get this stuff out of the way.

Medical week happens frequently when you're in your seventies. Yesterday I visited the retinal specialist. No change in my macular degeneration. Today I take Mr. H to the ENT. He seems to have fluid in his inner ear after the cold or whatever virus it was that we both had. This happened about a year ago, so we know what it is. The good news is that he couldn't get an appointment until 8/28. Then he called to ask about going to a different location. And, oh, they had a cancellation and he could get in today at the usual location.
Going out for pizza tonight. Also making goodies to take to tomorrow night's choir potluck and music run-through to kick off the season.

She currently has a tube installed in her ear, along with a cotton ball on the outside, dealing with the same issue. |

57F-77F sunny.
Pulled back still hurts but not as much and I'm upright, mostly. Going shopping for a suitcase for Zaria today. We leave for Key West in two weeks and I don't think she has ever flown before so she needs a case.

Good afternoon. We're getting a brief respite from the summer weather pattern of heat and humidity in the morning, rain in the afternoon. Still got the heat and humidity but the rain looks like it will take a break until the weekend. I'm taking advantage, took a long bike ride on the Good Neighbor Trail this morning, yardwork this afternoon. Tomorrow, I plan on taking the mountain bike out to the Chassahowitzka WMA and more yard work. I'm taking on a landscaping project, an upgraded area for the bird feeders, and tending to yardwork I've put off for too long. I'm being a tortoise, and I do a little bit each day.
Anyway, shopping this afternoon, off to Walmart for some mulch and food. Hope I don't mix them up.......

Let’s see…Wordle in five. Dragged the trailer out, used the compressor to air out all the tires to 60psi. Torqued all the lug nuts to 110. Turned on the fridge, still need to fill up the fresh water tank. Then mowed the lawn. Barbequeing some chicken thighs to take camping. Still need to wash the truck. Well, at least the to do list is shorter than it was.

I love music, but after 8 1/2 hrs of travel, practice and a gig esterday, I needed some balance in my life today. Balance between mental activity and physical activity.
I just completed the physical activity part, a 35.3 mile bike ride. I'm not tired but, my butt said, enough.
Probably mow lawn later this afternoon.

Good afternoon. A nice lunch with my former para-legal today at La Parrilla. Her work experience since leaving my office has crappy. She is changing fields and going from a two person office to a 100 person office. I am glad that I am not looking for a job these days. I don't think I could work for anyone else.
