Good morning. Light rain this morning, maybe more this afternoon. I'm off to a slow start today after yesterday's efforts doing yard work, setting up the home gym, and the daily bike ride. I'm starting to come around so we'll see what the afternoon has in store.

An unremarkable day. I like that. I've had to be somewhere for 6 out of the past 7 days. A medical appointment for me and one for Mr. H. Picking up a prescription. Getting the emissions test on the truck that we want to get rid of. Some necessary shopping. Choir kickoff. Today I'm not leaving the house except for our walk. That's how it's supposed to be when you're old and retired. Tomorrow is the monthly lunch that we host with our social club and eventually we'll have to go for groceries, but not today.

Not much to report except that I am still alive and basically well. It's a calm day here. It won't be too hot later, and I just have a couple of brief errands to run here in the neighborhood.

I'm back home from an early morning, 26 mile, bike ride. Forecast is for rain that could start as early as noon continuing thru tomorrow.
I'll make a pot of chili this afternoon.
