Who would like to gather Thursday evening in Vinton to share a meal? I had thought the Ron-Da-Voo might be an option but the Franks told us that Tequilero Mexican Restaurant might be a better choice. Menu ==> tequileromx.com/menu/It’s on US218 across from the location of the former Modern Motel building. Any other place of your preference is OK with us. We have business until 5:00pm so any time after 6:00pm is fine with us. |

There is Micky's Bar just north of the Cobblestone but I have no info on their food. Rondavoo has food, Cornflake and I have eaten there. All three places have plenty of parking.
I think Micky's or Rondavoo are more likely to allow people breaking out guitars.

Tequilera closes at 9:00pm, Ron-Da-Voo closes at 2:00am, if that makes any difference. Anybody want to pick a few tunes too?

I will plan on it! My ETA in Vinton is sometime between 5:00 and 8:00, I will have a better idea once I'm on the road.
Packing right now, with the all-important task of selecting road music. My vintage 2008 van has a quaint device called a CD player.

People 30 miles away in Cedar Rapids also find this amusing. I’ve read that the owners and staff all live in Cedar Rapids too. |
