Good morning. It's the first day of school for Her Grace, so once again, I am rising at 6:10 am to see that she has a proper breakfast before departing. So here I am, parenting but groggy. Coffee and toast is set up and ready to go as soon as she finishes her morning ablutions. I watched a film on the computer last night, and since her camera was sitting on my desk, I took photographs of LL Cool J, Justin Timberlake, and Morgan Freeman. Not the best film I have ever seen, but entertaining. I hope to be around when she turns the camera on and discovers them.

Wishing all IJammers a safe and pleasant journey to Vinton today, and a great kickoff to what should be a very fun weekend. Keep us apprised of festivities, would ya?

Today includes a Zoom social breakfast, grocery shopping and lunch with a friend. We'll eat at an utterly inauthentic Mexican restaurant owned by the Jordan family. They make some things well.

Yesterday was long and busy and tiring. Between having the plumber here and trying to schedule a few medical appointments, things were a bit chaotic. With fans running overnight and using the wet vac a couple of times, and sopping up water with towels, we are still trying to dry out the corner of the bedroom carpet and the wall behind the shower faucet. We had planned to go to dinner a few miles away so that Mr. H could have his New Mexico style Mexican food, but he was the one who suggested a quiet place a half mile away that serves Sonoran style. Since I'm the driver and did not grow up in west Texas like he did, I had no problem with that.

Today will be more drying out and getting caught up on things we couldn't do yesterday. Plus choir tonight.

Good morning. Pretty much a regular day here in Florida. Hot and humid, rain in the afternoon. I'm reviewing my finances and then I've got some pool maintenance and the rest of the daily routine. More that two years wordling with the same starting word. Finally hit yesterday. I had to either start using a new word, or simply quit wordling. I tried a new word and 4rd with it. It was an awkward and stiff pair of new shoes.

Almost from the beginning I used the same three starting words in the same order. One day I decided to reverse the order. Of course, my normal first word was that day's answer.

I completely changed my starting word and strategy a couple of months back. I don't know that the new starting word is any better than the old but it revived my interest in playing.
