I’m going to see him at a football game. The game is Rolling Meadows HS football home opener. Actually the reason I’m going is my granddaughter is in the band. They do a pregame show. Then a half time show.
But the fun aspect is Robbie Gould, famous NFL place kicker, has retired from the NFL and has taken on coaching HS football.
Go Mustangs.

I'm glad he is back in Chicago. The Bears never should have dumped him. But, he is Chicago.

I only watched the first half of the game. After the band performed half-time, the stands empty out somewhat. There are a lot more kids in the band than on the football team.
But I will say the team looked pretty good. They were leading 21-14 at half time. And I was watching Gould with my binoculars on and off. The team looked organized. and at one point there was a stoppage, and the stadium announcer called it a delay-of-game on Rolling Meadows. We were on their 10 yard line 2nd down. That would have hurt. But then the call was corrected, because Gould saw the clock ticking down (the quaterback was clueless), and Gould had called a time out to stop the clock.
I'll have to find out if we won the game.
