This is an unusual Martin, the specs started from the OM 18-GE but the scale was made short, so 24.9, then the profile was changed to a low profile but the nut stayed at 1 3/4. The top was changed from adi to Italian alpine, bracing stayed for the top with adi. Mahogany back and side, all mahogany neck, no wings, waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. BRW Trim, headplate, no plastic on this guitar. There are 3 small dings on the top, one place on the BRW binding where the nitro has come off due to someone hitting the guitar with a case, but no dent or scratch. No pickguard, some surface scratches but just normal playing wear. Probably a 9 out of 10. The tone is very balanced, warm but not dull, loud and responds extremely well to a light touch, really ideal for fingerstyle or jazz but can be played with a pick and has tons of headroom. The bracing is FS, or as Martin calls is, advanced FS. I have specs and pics if anyone is interested. This was not a cheap Martin and it was built before the 000-18GE. How it differs from that guitar is in the bass, it is stronger, and it is a warmer guitar without giving up any brilliance. Asking $2750 plus shipping.
