Curried chicken salad on a fresh sesame seed bagel. Red seedless grapes, and a handful of sweet chili rice chips all washed down with a Widmer Hefeweizen.
Lunch, 10 dollars.
Surviving heart surgery, priceless.

An occasional 2 fingers of whiskey is good for the heart Mike, well maybe not but it feels good.

Curried chicken. I'm dying out here. Next time of of the girls goes to Cedar Rapids, they'll be bringing back chicken curry. And chicken Mackni. And somosas, and some tandoor chicken. I've already got the naan in the freezer, ready to cook. Man, I love Indian food. I just wish everybody else in my family like it as well.

Sunday we drove the hour down to C'ville to pick up some Craigslist furniture for daughter's college apartment. That was not much fun moving it up the four flights of stairs, but the saving grace was a trip to our favorite Indian place--Milan, which has the most wonderful buffet for about $8.95. So anytime a trip to C'ville becomes an errand, Milan makes it an outing.

I buy frozen naan, which takes seconds to cook in a dry skillet. That's good stuff with anything. I'm using it for sandwich bread more and more.
