Greetings from the Czech Republic in the amzingly beautiful but commercial city of Prague. Off to Amsterdam this evening for a few days, then to Italy for a week or so. Back in the USSA on the 12th.

It's 3:30 am and I'm walking out the door to drive to Dayton to pick up the now-repaired Odyssey. I'll do the return trip tomorrow. Did I mention the other driver's insurance company will be getting my gas bill? Good thing my sister-in-law ia a lawyer.
Hope this finds you all well.
Paul

Good Morning Good People
4:33 AM EDT and I haven't gone to bed yet. Up late at the office finishing a tedious report so I can deliver it at ~8:00 to my client in Lansing. Wouldn't have been a problem if the client had retained us for a 30-day job more than 10 days before the state=mandated deadline.
Thought I could start the daily thread, but the sun rises earlier in Prague - I envy your adventure Tequilabob.
Gonna get some sleep. Have a peaceful day one and all.

Good morning, all. Headed to bed. No good reason for being up late.

John - That same little thin strip of storms extend right up the NW Tollway to Arlington Heights. Pavement was dry at my house. A mile south @ the expressway, the pavement was drenched. A half mile up the road, i caught up with the storm line and rode it's slickness into downtown.
Weird thing is I'm in a torrential downpour and can hardly see the car in front of me, yet out my left window I can see the sun in full dawn glory.
Weird indeed.

I'm watching as the black clouds pass by just north of me. Still dry.

Lima? Lima deserves a good weather-noogie (so long as nobody gets hurt or suffers property damage)

Good morning. High of 99 today but going to 103-107 Monday. I'm getting weary of this.
We have a huge toy store for men here in the area called Bass Pro. I loaded the scooter up and drove down for a look see yesterday. Spent over an hour in there buying a pair of shoes and a shirt. I wanted the wife to know that I spent nothing on fishing gear or the like and told her so. She liked the shirt.
Mando lesson today plus work on the blues guitar. Have a great weekend.

How the heck do you look out the front and out the side as you drive in a torrential downpour while you type and post here? Mornin'..... Packing up and loading camper and heading to the lake (a new one for us that we haven't been to before) for the weekend. After all the nonsense running around to the Dr's and hospitals and Barb's finals.....we're really ready. Have great weekends all.....and Happy Birthday to any of the August birthdays that happen before I get back in here on Monday. Hope Sekh is having a great one today.

Morning folks, enjoy your Friday. I'm looking forward to a visit by my grade school roommate later today. He's staying for the weekend. Fun will be had.
