an excerpt......
HUNTER INDICTED: President Biden’s son Hunter has been indicted on three federal felony gun charges, accusing him of lying about being addicted to cocaine when he bought a firearm in October 2018. The charges are somewhat unusually severe given that the gun was not used in a crime. The indictment comes weeks after a judge rejected a plea deal in which the younger Biden would have avoided a trial. Also, the indictment comes after a federal appeals court last month struck down the law prohibiting users of illegal drugs from buying a gun. Ironically, Hunter Biden’s defenders are saying this is a political prosecution as Republicans say about Donald Trump. Also, lawyer Abbe Lowell said the indictment “violates the agreement the government made with Hunter Biden,” a reference to the deal he reached with prosecutors this summer, which later collapsed. “Hunter owned an unloaded gun for 11 days,” Lowell told CNN. Lowell blamed the reversal of the plea deal on “all the Republican screamers.” It’s a bad break for Joe Biden, having a son headed for criminal trial going into the 2024 election. Hunter frequently goes to White House events. This also comes as House Republicans are claiming that the President was involved in sleazy foreign business dealings with his son.

.........................
Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that killed 2,997 people and injured more than 6,000. On a sunny Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.
We will never forget...... 9/11 (I was in Paz, Mexico - anniversary) Pearl Harbor 1929 and more
I like to be positive as well. I have a few friends that have a birthday

I watched this it was so funny - satisfaction and satire and belly-flops
New in Town (not Minnesota) - a 2009 American-Canadian romantic comedy drama film, directed by Jonas Elmer, starring Renée Zellweger, Harry Connick Jr., and Siobhan Fallon Hogan. It was filmed in Winnipeg and Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada, and in Los Angeles and South Beach, Miami, Florida
Predictable and uninspired, it is one more example of the dumb comedies that Hollywood is churning out at an alarming rate
I did it anyway - it's always good to watch a stupid movie I spent a lot of time in Canada and some of locals - really dull knifes and sharps too. But I loved it -

Todd's thoughts ....."I've done a lot of odd jobs in my day, but nothing that comes close to this. And if I had, I'd never be able to explain it like this. I'd be able to give justice to a description of the job, but not to how one person's job affected the jobs, and days, of so many others"
And the editor (Strib) story
I lived when I was a kid almost 21 "I've done a lot of odd jobs in my day, but nothing that comes close to this." I worked a factory - Middletown CT (Wesleyan Univ) I was in music - Indian/Jazz The factory was Plastic/Non-Genuine Leather - womens bags, shoes in K-mart Workers lived in Looney Bin in huge hospital. They were in plastic in vats - the heat was 120 degrees. I went to a lot of different departments. The workers were amazing good. They find me to a different place - Metal Shop - they had these old leather belts and the one machine for the lathes, drill, devices - I think I went to about 10 jobs at this factory place and finally they gave me a new position - Delivery Man and Samples for companies.
The Owner wanted me to Director/VP and they're going to give me a Department.
I really don't know why they did that because they couldn't know about about my 1951 Cadillac Hearse and my long hair. One of the secretary's - she was a hot one - I went to her party well... it was a good party and I guess she wasn't a girlfriend but it was fun.
Now I'm thinking about the editor's storyline & Todd's thoughts
I actually enjoyed doing this job and it was "early 1800 factory"
It was tangential ;-)

You may request that Facebook send you a complete list of all the information they have that relates to you. I think you may also request that it be deleted. Why should be deleted......

“Because Facebook collects and stores so much personal data on all its users, some companies have taken advantage of this data to manipulate public opinion. It has grown so much that it's alleged that this data mining allowed external parties to influence national elections.”
When I come to Facebook to see friends, recipes or a vacation pictures and I don’t say anything about my data

I will read soon "Breathe" by James Nestor in my public library - for somebody else My pulmonologist said I should buy/read it
Review: "No matter what you eat, how much you exercise, how skinny or young or wise you are, none of it matters if you're not breathing properly.
There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing: take air in, let it out, repeat twenty-five thousand times a day. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, with grave consequences.
Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. The answers aren't found in pulmonology labs, as we might expect, but in the muddy digs of ancient burial sites, secret Soviet facilities, New Jersey choir schools, and the smoggy streets of Sao Paulo. Nestor tracks down men and women exploring the hidden science behind ancient breathing practices like Pranayama, Sudarshan Kriya, and Tummo and teams up with pulmonary tinkerers to scientifically test long-held beliefs about how we breathe.
Modern research is showing us that making even slight adjustments to the way we inhale and exhale can jump-start athletic performance; rejuvenate internal organs; halt snoring, asthma, and autoimmune disease; and even straighten scoliotic spines. None of this should be possible, and yet it is.
Drawing on thousands of years of medical texts and recent cutting-edge studies in pulmonology, psychology, biochemistry, and human physiology, Breath turns the conventional wisdom of what we thought we knew about our most basic biological function on its head. You will never breathe the same again." By Good Read

Mr Morgan’s Last Love (2013)
An absolute gem of a film, regardless of what Rotten Tomatoes says. This film has what so many films of today are lacking .... a heart and soul, voiced beautifully by Michael Caine. He struggles with the loss of his wife and like some other movies that have come before, we see that he wants to kill himself. But then he meets Pauline (portrayed beautifully by Clémence Poésy) on a bus one day. They become friends despite the huge age difference. I won't say any more about how the rest of the movie goes, but everything somehow works out as it should. This movie touched my heart at a time when I most needed to see that all was not lost in my own life and that if you're open to it, life just happens with some kind of flow. Everything almost always works out as it should. So, forget what the reviews say. If you like a good, heartfelt drama, settle in for a little while and watch this movie.

54 years
It was a event & musical - the first singer didn't have any teeth. I was with first ex-wife/girlfriend - the beginning of the marriage I had to leave early too souls & mud & rain It was hard to find food/water or you could have a blunt You can smell the aromas - the piss and shit and body odor And the patchouli...
But I was there. I think
An opportunity for people to escape into music and spread a message of unity and peace. Although the crowd experienced bad weather, muddy conditions and a lack of food, water and adequate sanitation, the overall vibe there was harmonious.
I got busted too. Yorkville, NY. The driver had 1/2 of a pill of LSD. I wish I'd known it was there. Nobody slept in the police jail
