Or, for the chronically angry when outdoors, <bucholeric>.
Or, for those who like to get high on nature, <bucoholic>.

There's going to be some kind of change in plans for my trip. We had plenty of notice for Rosejam. We booked our room early. A week or two ago I even programmed the Days Inn into the the GPS.
Enter DA WIFE (you don't have that copyrighted, do you Marty?). She/we signed Haley up for cheerleading camp the week of the 13th. Small detail here -- it runs through Friday, 7/17. That sucks, that's when we're supposed to leave. More suckier, possibly most suckiest, is that they then put on a performance for the parents, from 5:30 to 8:30.
I don't want to make a 6 hour drive at night. So we can get up early (very, very early) Saturday morning and head out, or I can leave by myself Friday morning.
Where's that thread about the 20 year old kid getting married? I think I need to add another suggestion.

Go stag, man. The other scenario is way too brutal for the payoff.

I'm thinking about it.
Jadene wants to wait until we know more, which probably won't be until the camp starts. I'm thinking more along the lines of "You're welcome to come, but the bus leaves at 8 AM Friday morning. Be on it or don't."

Go ahead and drive at night. 94 is pretty straight most of the way. You can take naps.

If you get mad and give me the silent treatment, I won't even know. So Why would you say that? YOU"RE the one who screwed it up. It was pretty simple: We both took vacation days off on the 17th to drive up to Rosejam. (Ok, me Rosejam, you Mall of America.) And YOU made the freakin' hotel reservations. Why would you schedule something for the same day after already scheduling something?

Oh so you think I did this on purpose, don't you?! Do you think it's easy keeping track of everyone's schedules? I just figured we could go shopping some other weekend. What's the big deal?
Besides that, YOU look in your daughter's big blue eyes and tell her that YOUR silly guitar picnic is more important than her cheerleading camp.

Oh so you think I did this on purpose, don't you?! No. If I thought that, I would have more respect for you.
Do you think it's easy keeping track of everyone's schedules? It's your schedule too, you dope.
I just figured we could go shopping some other weekend. What's the big deal? It's not. I'm ok with that. Go, don't go. It's all ok with me.
Besides that, YOU look in your daughter's big blue eyes and tell her that YOUR silly guitar picnic is more important than her cheerleading camp. I like it when you put your boobs in my mouth. Not so much when you put words in my mouth. I never said it was more important, only that it was what I was going to do, and you and Haley are welcome to come along. Again, go/don't go. But there are no third options.

Oh and that thing I said about your pillow being on the couch when you return? Recalculating....
It'll be in the garage.

"Recalculating...."
If you were a computer, you'd be a PC.

Huh?
I'm not sure what you said, but I like the way you wrap your lips around an insult.

Huh? I'm not sure what you said, but I like the way you wrap your lips around an insult. (what a great line for song lyrics)If you go to your guitar thing on Friday you're gonna wish you were an insult because that's the ONLY thing of yours around which my lips will be wrapping around for a long time

A good wife would start wrapping now, and keep wrapping for the next 16 days. Then, I'd be too tired to go.

I hope it clears up by the 17th so that you're in a good mood when I call you from Rosejam.
