Marshall and Kari arrived a couple of hours ago and we are looking forward to seeing you Howard.
James, there will be other Swan Jams, but if you are in Ontario in the fall ...

Wish I could be there... sounds like a wonderful time. Hammond was delighted with your phone message last night.

It looks as if we'll arrive around 12 :30 or 1:00 but don't wait around for us. If no one's there, we'll come back in a while. I forgot that it's three hours later here.

We're just up and hanging out. I think this is a relaxed day. We'll be waiting around. You'll recognize us by the big GRIN on our faces Marshall

Cool. We're back from breakfast. cornflake is due any minute. Howard @ about 3:00. Tamarack is on the way. 21 south of Goderich is a mess; under construction. At one point there's no road at all. You're driving on the dirt base.
But it's worth the effort.

We'll be looking for ya. Leave early if you can. There was an hour wait to get through the Customs que at 5:00 Like I said above, the route up to 21 south of Goderich is under construction. If there's an alternate route up to Goderich it might be quicker to take it

Coming out of Grand Bend, take 83 east to Route 4. then take 4 nw to 8 in Clinton. Take that back to Goderich & reconnect with 21. That will get you around the Construction.

Tam is here. I'ts a little drizly. But that seems to have mostly cleared up. Lots of locals bearing instruments have arrived. The wine is very good. Almost as good as the people.

Halo boys and girls. Sitting around with the Dons (cornflake and tamarack) and Kari and Howard. Lars is up. No sign of Kate yet, or Joy or Mark. It was a lovely late night. The drizzly rain (and a t-storm later) kept the jam in the house. The Kitchen to be exact. I found the only way to get a decent picture was to go outside in the back yard and take a picture in the window. I'm sure I got some good ones.
A lot of the local musical friends showed. There had to be 20 people in the Kitchen area.
Today we head up the Bruce for the photo shoot day.

Another day chock full of good folks and good times. Never before have I stood on a dirt road in Ontario singing an a Capella gospel song in a group.

Flake, among the myriad wonderful Jam moments, you guys singing America the Beautiful was once of the best. Brought a tear to my eye. Amazing. Todd, we did not eat all the grapes yet. And there's a lot of beer and wine left. ...

. . . , a little less than an hour ago. But this may be goodnight for the last night (of my portion) of Swanjam. Lovely people. Howard was such a fun mischievous (and charming) entertainer. Nice simple jamming tonight (including pizza) from just the Soundholers. Sorry Don and Diane moved up the penninsula. But we had a great day, and they'll get to return in a day and extend Kate's Swanjam experience. The rest of us schlemiels will be departing in the morning. Here's a couple of simple cell phone shots from the day
