Since Marshall is off in CO trout fishing, communing with bears, elk, other big animals and playing his guitar under the stars, I have been given special one time permission to state that we have now reached $1145 in the raffle.
Keep those card and letters coming in, folks. There are a couple of weeks to go so you can still buy the winning ticket.

Marshall will be back soon and I will not be allowed to make announcements so I want to get one last one in before he returns to take control.
We are now at $1205.

With the new bridge in place all the major work is done. Next Part will be cutting the saddle slot and making a saddle and nut. Then I will install new tuners and the pickup.

Wonderfully done, master Marty. OK, boys and girls. We're heading into the final week. Saturday Sept 7th (at the stroke of midnight?) is the last opportunity to get in on this. And there's nothing wrong with padding you chances a bit if you already have a ticket by purchasing a little extra insurance. (I know I probably will )

Hear Ye ! Hear Ye ! ! !
Do to circumstances beyond our control, Saturday September 7th occurs on Saturday September 6th this year. (Leap years are screwy like that.)
Anyrate, for you last minute shoppers that means THIS IS THE FINAL DAY OF THE RAFFLE TICKET BUY OUT. At the stroke of midnight tonight, the massive gears of the Harmony count-down clock will grind to a screeching hault. And the big steel vault door of opportunity will slam itself shut and lock. There will only be moaning and gnashing of teeth for those sorry assed individuals who procrastinated too long to get in on this.
As a further update, we've received a couple additional contributions from two of our handsomest members bringing the present moment total up to a respectable;
$1,265.00
But don't miss out on your last chance to own the greatest guitar ever repaired ! ! ! ! !

Of all things ! A snail mail check just arrived at Raffle Control Headquarters. That brings us up to:
$1,290.00
There's still time to get in, though. And I have it from a good source that any ticket that puts us over $1,300 will have extra special Marty Mojo attached to it.

I'll install the mojo just before I put the K&Ks in. Then nut, saddle, fit the pins and string it up. I will try to get those done Sunday and Monday, then I will do the last post that evening.

All right. This is the last time I'll check in before closing. Some other sorry bloke jumped in for $25 so we're up to:
$1,340.00
With a total of 65 tickets sold. Unless anyone else paypals LJ tween now and midnight (we'll give the left coasters untill their own bewitching hour), then the total tickets will stand at 65. You can calculate your own odds based on the number of tickets you bought divided by 65.
Anyrate, we'll know the final count by breakfast. I'll probably print out the actual tickets to be dropped in the bucket on Monday, as I will be out of town Monday night and heading directly to Idot Central on Thursday.
I'd say, "may the best man win," but I'm kinda hoping I've got a better chance that that.
PS - I hope Marty signs it somewhere visible.

OK that looks like it. Unless some snail mail with a cheque shows up on Monday. We are at 65 tickets with the $1,340 total listed above.
May the goofiest clown win !

What a guitar that Sovereign has turned into. Marty is the absolute king of maximizing the potential of any guitar. And he did a great job with the k&k in my guitar. Salvaged the old one and made it sound better than I thought possible. The out put had trickled down to a 2, now it's at 11.
