Bluegrassers play everything in G. Even when the tune is in A or B, they slap on a capo and play it using G forms. Maybe Todd is a Bluegrasser and did not realize it.

First, as we've discussed before, don't hold your guitar straight across your body. Push the neck out away from you. This will help keep your wrist straight. Yes, but that makes it harder to see the fretboard, which I need to do when I play disco. Dis finger go here, an' dis go here, an' dis go here...
