You see, I never asked about Trump. I never asked about what Trump said a couple of days ago. I asked if there was a riot yesterday. From my idiot sister and you guys, I got answers about Trump. Biased? I rest my case. Pretty hard to separate the two when there were news stories galore over his weekend statements about rioting in Sweden, before there was any.

Biased? I rest my case. Pretty hard to separate the two when there were news stories galore over his weekend statements about rioting in Sweden, before there was any. Well, all he said was, “You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden,” Trump said. “Sweden. Who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible.” Nothing about rioting. Imprecise and unclear speech about what he WAS talking about but putting words into his mouth is also very inaccurate. One does not justify the other. By the way, I thought you'd like this. davidthompson.typepad.com/davidthompson/2017/02/bad-medicine.html

The President clarified his remarks Sunday, posting on Twitter that his statement "was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @foxnewsconcerning immigrants & Sweden." The tweet confirmed suspicions of many that Trump's remarks stemmed from Tucker Carlson's show Friday night, in which the host interviewed Ami Horowitz, a filmmaker who has tried to tie Sweden's taking in of asylum seekers to increased violent crimes in the country. And I love this:
Just two days after President Trump provoked widespread consternation by seeming to imply, incorrectly, that immigrants had perpetrated a recent spate of violence in Sweden, riots broke out in a predominantly immigrant neighborhood in the northern suburbs of the country's capital, Stockholm.
The neighborhood, Rinkeby, was the scene of riots in 2010 and 2013, too. And in most ways, what happened Monday night was reminiscent of those earlier bouts of anger. Swedish police apparently made an arrest about 8 p.m. near the Rinkeby station. For reasons not yet disclosed by the police, word of the arrest prompted youths to gather.
Over four hours, the crowd burned about half a dozen cars, vandalized several shopfronts and threw rocks at police. Police spokesman Lars Bystrom confirmed to Sweden's Dagens Nyheter newspaper that an officer fired shots with the intention to hit a rioter but did not strike his target. A photographer for the newspaper was attacked by more than a dozen men and his camera was stolen, but ultimately no one was hurt or even arrested.
Maybe he can foresee the future.

Actually, all of "all he said" was to follow the "look at what’s happening last night in Sweden" (bolding added) line with a list of other European cities--Brussels, Paris, Nice--all terrorist attacks. In that context--add the rhetorical link provided by "look at what’s happening" and it's not hard to see how listeners might think that Trump was referring to a terrorist incident the previous night in Sweden rather than his viewing of a Fox News interview with a filmmaker whose thesis is that Sweden is undergoing an upswing in violence committed by immigrants.

His brain doesn't work like a normal person. To say what he means would require expanding his vocabulary, NOT, Sad!

Sadly, the only New Yorkers you seem to know is Howard and he's incredibly nice for a New Yorker. Trump is the common fast talking sarcastic New Yorker you'd meet on the street, in a New York Minute.

He's playing the media (as well as all of his detractors here), precisely as intended. It still amazes me that people don't see the technique in what he does.

We're ALL hallucinating, all the time. What we perceive as "reality" doesn't exist.
This is what Trump understands.

Jeff mistypes. What he means is "sick sigmoid." A sigmoidoscope might reveal the nature and extent of the problem, but who wants the job of applying that?

What is a six sigma genius? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_SigmaIt's a management procedure designed to eliminate 99.99999% or errors. It requires extensive training on proper ways to evaluate processes and improve them. Companies get rated on a 6 scale on how well the achieve the goals. I went through the training back in the early 2000's maybe late '90s and at the time, all the companies that had attained 6 Sigma had gone bankrupt shortly thereafter. I think the copyright on the program is or was owned by Motorola.

To properly grasp the lighting quick mind and genius of Trump, it helps to slow him down a bit so that you can keep up.

Except that is the definition of fake news, it is not funny, Trump does not drink, and that is as unfair as anything I have seen posted against Obama. Why would you even post that, James?
