Good morning. A little thunder rumbler overnight. Casper was very concerned. That dog worries a lot.

Good morning.
Trying out a brand-new pair of multi-focal contact lenses. Same concept as line-less bifocals, but in contacts. My optometrist says it can take a while for the eyes and brain to adjust. We will see what happens.

Chased a herd of deer out of the yard last night. Been spending time putting up some 7.5 ft plastic fencing around the orchard. Replacing posts as needed. Unfortunately the deer have been ripping it down almost as fast as i pput it up. And something is getting to my ripening tomatoes, I don't think it's the dog but it is annoying.
Better days y'all

Good morning. We actually had two minutes of light rain last night. I went in and told my wife and she came out to see it.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning.
Got over to Fret Central yesterday and got my two tool boxes but forgot my Fender test amp so I'll have to make another trip. It's a powered monitor that I got from Doug with a XLR input and a !/4" input, Volume and Tone. Works rather well as a bench test amp and being wedged shaped doesn't take up much room on the bench.
Today household duties and shop time.

Another perfect-weather day here in How Did This Happen Land. I'm enjoying a cup of coffee made with a just opened package of Trader Joe's breakfast blend and have scarfed down an egg/frankfurter sammich. All is well in my little world.
That is all; carry on.

We walked our substitute dog in the cool woods this morning.
Have I mentioned that Farida guitars are the bomb?

Walking down the street at noon to have the last one of my wisdom teeth pulled. This tooth contains the last few grams of intelligence I possess. I could be lookin' at stupid from now on.
FYI, the peaches are still delicious.

mnhermit, I have heard that spreading mountain lion poop around your yard will keep the deer away. But that might present its own set of problems.
Had my physiacal yesterday - my doctor said my nose might have some Basal cells. I went home, had a few drinks and sharpened my knife, but got too tired to deal with it ;-) My parents and brother have all gone through the process. Guess I will be wearing a nose cone soon.

Work on the deck continues. Mortar is drying on a cement block wall cap replacement. Replaced some rotted door trim yesterday.
Very close to being able to offer lifetime guarantees on my home repair work now
Cheers

Just warmed up one of these, a dish I had not tried before. A review: -- Not "fiery," but for sure spicy and I added no hot sauce to it. Very tasty, chicken is tender and not dry. -- Very affordable, under $4. -- Pretty low in sodium (620mg), pretty low in calories (360). -- TJ's describes it thusly: "Our frozen foods section is known for its excellent selection of authentic Indian-style dishes. The tiny state of Goa on the southwestern coast of India is known for its thrillingly spicy cuisine. Put these two together, and you’ve got Trader Joe’s Fiery Chicken Curry! Our supplier uses a Goan-inspired recipe that begins with white-meat chicken in a curry base composed of coconut milk, whole peeled tomatoes, garlic, tamarind paste, and, of course, an assortment of familiar Indian spices—turmeric, coriander, cardamom, ginger, cumin, red chili powder, and many more. Put these things all together—alongside the golden-hued, turmeric-spiced basmati rice that’s included—and you’ve got one heck-of-a satisfying and spicy meal."
