And I'm planting Daffodils and lily bulbs in my brand new peat-laden flower bed. By next spring I should be recovered from all the digging and I will enjoy the fruits of my labor.

A nice email I just received:
JOLENE MIKKELSON 8:36 AM (45 minutes ago) to me
Dear Paul,
I just want to thank you so much for the tomato plants that you gave me last spring. We enjoyed them so much! They were very happy in Bemidji and were added to so many lunches and dinners for us. Dan especially LOVED the Tie Die, they got big and beautiful and were the exact texture that he craves with his BLT. They were also very prolific. Yesterday I put the end of the Tie Die tomatoes in the soup I was making, and I was sad to see the last of them go.
AND ANNIE! I was lucky enough to see it twice, and wanted you to know that your scene was a show stealer, and the audience went wild for your act. It was FABULOUS!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for both the entertainment and the tomatoes.
Jolene Mikkelson

good morning. Been a busy productive morning so far. Still some errands to run but I will be able to kick back and be lazy later this aftenoon.

That was very nice of Jolene. On first reading, I was afraid your planting beds were "Pete-laden," and I wondered who Pete was and how he ended up there.

It's Friday. The Steel Wheels show last night was pretty good, second time I've seen them, I probably won't be ready to see them again for several years.
I think I'll head up to the cabin about noon today, that will let it warm up a few degrees, and bring the boat home for the winter.
I'm hoping that I don't have to get in the water, at least not over my knees!

I spent part of the morning thinking today was Saturday. Now, I find it is not. I assume, then, that today is Friday. Unless I missed another day somehow and it is either Thursday or Sunday. I may have to consult a calendar.

I’ve got shingles. On my roof. Which is good, ‘cause, you know, rain and stuff.
Going to lunch today with a old friend. And it seems he’s given up driving, so I’ll pick him up. He has had some heart issues, so I’m hoping he’s ok.

Epaul, I did Berkley Tie Dye this year along with Mortgage Lifter. They were very good.

Good morning
The other day I made sure my dress suit was clean and presentable for the funeral yesterday, it was. What I didn't do was put it on until it was time to do so yesterday, big mistake. I've lost so much weight the thing looked like it was for a guy twice my size. I could have fitted both cats in the pants with me and we all would have been quite comfortable. Pinned the back of the pants to reduce the overflow and thought about wearing a sweater under the vest to fill out the coat but I would have been way too warm so I went looking a bit baggy. Time to buy a new dress suit.
Time to start working in my almost rearranged shop. Might have to do some of that before I start working as Tyler was doing it while I was gone yesterday.

My granddaughter gets married tomorrow so I am resting up for that. Not that I have to do anything but show up and not be embarrassing, but that last part can be hard for me.

I don't remember when you came to the Soundhole, but I mentioned back when that those guys (specifically Jay Lapp) are Goshen guys. I've sat in with Jay and a few others at jams in Goshen, and Jay's mandolin was made by Jim Shenk.

it’s Friday. It’s a beautiful day. My blinds are closed. I’m still recovering. The valve heart surgery…. Amazing. 👍🏻 I didn’t read it - thoughts (daily thread)
This Soundhole website is sort of my virtual newspaper. It’s a little bit community Everybody else are unique.
Enjoy your days….. ladies & gentlemen
