"But the Democratic side of the aisle does itself disservice (and the country?) by characterizing any opposition to their proposals in such black and white terms."
I would completely agree if I ever saw it happen. I can't say that I have.

Taking advantage of a warming climate, several North Dakota towns have begun campaigns to attract Iowans. "King Cat". Fish the Red. North Dakota Beautiful. Come see for yourself, Iowa! North Dakota, not just for tourism and sex with sheep.I took the liberty of a little editing. Should be OK now.

ND Tourism hired a renowned statistical data service, Monkey Spooks, and learned that Iowa is pig plentiful and that so inclined Iowans were well-served locally. However, North Dakota did have a clear advantage over Iowa when it came to the number of readily available, and amenable, farmers. Hence the chosen slogan.

If you do not believe that racial prejudice exists in the US is crazy. And, to say it is not more prevalent in the Republican party, you are either ignorant or intentionally politically manipulative. Certainly, many (most?) Republicans are not racists, but the Republican party is where the racists reside. To say otherwise is just, . . . f'ing goofy.

A lot of cheap shot accusations with no real data to back it up.

Finally! Someone rational explains "Replacement Theory" in terms I can understand and have witnessed over the last several years. And yes, he does talk about the European connection that Russell references. So it's really about the long held Democrat notion that opening borders is the best way to establish permanent Democrat rule in the country. The key is to dilute the power of actual existing citizens with random entry of anyone who wants to wander in. Got it. Now if they weren't stupid enough to trust Biden and cheat to get a senile idiot to monumentally piss off all those legitimate citizens, it might have just worked. The Great Replacement

So as they cross into our country Biden signs them up to be democrats? As for knowing white supremacists,I know of 3 in Vinton and they own or work in the gun store in Vinton.

So as they cross into our country Biden signs them up to be democrats? That's been the plan for the last decade or so. Why do you think they're fighting closing the border so hard now? What, 248,000 crossed last month alone? It's why they fought Trump's wall so hard and shut it down (conveniently leaving paid for materials to rot in the sun) the instant Biden was inaugurated.

I thought only animals and vegetable matter rotted, and everything else has a fancier name for it's process of decay. But that's beside the point, or at least everyone else's point and the point (?) of this thread.

Note the change of direction -- change of subject. Don't discuss the fact that democrats want illegal immigration. Discuss the materials with which the wall isn't being built and whether or not steel rusts or rots. Better get James in here to correct the spelling of "their" and make it complete.
The racism of the Democratic Party is overlooked and unacknowledged because it comes in the guise of wanting to help those they believe inherently inferior. The racism of the Democratic Party is manifest its audacious claim to be the ones speaking on behalf of groups. The Democratic Party claims the right to elitesplain not only what minorities need, but also what us blue collar hoi poloi who actually work shoulder to shoulder with the minorities think of them.

Among other valid points, you slip on a gross generalization. If put in an either/or bucket, I am a Democrat. I do not want illegal immigration. And I am not the exception that proves the rule.

Better get James in here to correct the spelling of "their" and make it complete. I often have spell check turned off. It's kind of like those "how do drive the anal retentive crazy" memes.
