As someone famous might have said, "Beware the dimes of March." As this is a dime day, y'all take care.

As someone famous might have said, "Beware the dimes of March." But do give to the March of Dimes. We got a tad over an inch of snow overnight, just enough to trigger the RTD privateer tractor crews to swing into action, so my driveway should be cleared soon. We have received more than 75 inches this winter, with more on the way. Annual average is a little over 50 (100 in Duluth), so this is shaping up as one of the Top 10 in recorded totals. Most of it has been amid tolerable temps, though, and there has been plenty of sunshine, so lots of smiley skiers out there. I'll work a short shift today, then go on a late lunch adventure, maybe to one of these places: www.startribune.com/the-5-best-things-we-ate-in-the-twin-cities-area-this-week-sandwich-breakfast-pie-bagel-potpie/600257713/I've been spending WAY too much slumber time lately editing stories in my sleep. Where are all the babes?

Good morning
25F-34F cloudy.
DaWife is off to her eye surgery follow up. The girls took her but unlike yesterday they don't get to go to breakfast as DaWife has to work get back to work asap. I'm having my coffee and a nice chocolate muffin I baked last night. Riley is at my feet staring intently because he smells chocolate, he ain't getting any. Simon was yelling because he wanted out. I let him out but took the muffin with me. When it comes to muffins and chocolate Riley cannot be trusted. Took my usual nap yesterday and Cheri let simon out and then fell asleep. I let that poor boy in two hours later, cold, wet and miserable. After a good toweling he got lots of treats and a good warm lap petting by DaWife, she felt really bad. Fur babies.
10 Days Until Spring.

I am now fully awake and partially lucid. We had a dusting of snow overnight and this is after some weather folks predicted 3-6 inches. There is light snow coming down now so we’ll see how the day develops. It doesn’t look like it will amount to much but who knows? Stay warm & cozy today.

Blowing it off the driveway is far superior to just pushing it around. For sure. And now the city plow just hit my street, but the driver saw my cleared driveway and was nice enough to kinda go around the end of it, so I will have no great barrier reef of crud to deal with.

Good morning, we had some sun earlier, now it a filtered shine. We got about 3 inches of the white stuff yesterday and last night.
The exciting news is that Vail, Epic ski passes for 2024 are now on sale. I'll probably order mine this afternoon. I'm planning on skiing a couple weeks next year, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge. Telluride might get added, but it's less than a 50% chance right now.

Another blizzard warning with a 77% probability of snow in the 4-8" range. And it is timed perfectly for the Boys Basketball semi-finals Saturday night. Umm, maybe I won't go this year. We'll see. If either Warren or Newfolden make it in, I pretty much have to.

... Slick rig: These new little utility tractors are so damn cute. I just want to sit in their cabs and dream of places to go and things to do.

Can't be worse than the Bill Self news! Well, at least it sounds like he'll be returning to the team eventually ... not so with Adam, who ran some of the prettiest routes I've ever seen.

Got my ass out of bed early and snowshoed at my usual park. Sunny, six inches of new untracked snow, light breeze, really beautiful. It’s quite hilly so a good workout.
It’s fun to see evidence of animal behavior. There will be about a 60’ track out of a thicket of bushes, a divot in the snow with the morning excrement, then tracks back home for a little more sack time.

Where are all the babes? At 75 inches of snow you are 73 inches ahead of us for the winter. Dashed my hopes of skiing down the 50 foot drop at Hummel Park, which is exhilarating.
