I made something up today. Onion, celery, carrots, baby yellow potatoes, Canelli beans, a couple cans of fire roasted diced tomatoes, a bit of Italian seasoning and chicken some chicken broth. I hope it works out because that'll be what I'm having for the next five days. What are you folks having?

I'm glad you added meat. Sounds fine, all in all.

Teriyaki meatballs, a bag of Trader Joe’s Asian stir fry veggies, and some frozen udon noodles stir fry stove top. Easy peasy.

DaWife tried her hand at Spinach Lasagna. She done good.
EDIT: The girls are here for dinner and expected me to make veggie chili. But Cheri watched Jacques Pepin make the lasagna on Saturday morning tv and wanted to try it. Adding some nice Italian Sausage to a layer of it would be easy.

Tonight I'm making Salmon Marie, rice, cukes, green salad and pears. Salmon Marie came from a cookbook owned by friend Marie. Before cooking you apply a sauce made of mayonnaise, parmesan, lemon juice, garlic and marjoram. However it may sound, it's good.

It must be the light or reflections from the sides of the pot, because it is indeed beanie-weenies in the standard brownish sauce. Ingredients: can of beans, hot dogs.

VI, I thought I was making up the name "Salmon Marie" but I'm not surprised the name was already in use. This is what I made:
4 salmon filets, 8 oz each 2/3 cup mayonnaise 1/3 cup grated parmesan 3 tbsp lemon juice 3 cloves garlic salt, pepper, marjoram to taste
Preheat oven to 425 Lay salmon skin side down on foil-lined cookie sheet Combine mayo, parmesan, lemon juice, garlic and the rest Spread sauce over top of fish Bake about 15 minutes Brown under the broiler for 30-60 seconds

I use that recipe except using halibut (and I do not know what marjoram tastes like, but I will try it).

I brought some halibut home from Alaska last summer so decided to see what I could do with it. Cut the skin off the 1 side, dunked it in some stirred egg and rolled it in italian bread crumbs with added seasoning. Laid it out over a sliced lemon and baked at 350 for 30 minutes. Steamed broccoli for the side. Very tasty!

I had a Red Barron Deluxe Pizza last night.
Consumer Reports rated Red Barron as a top-rated frozen pizza in their recent frozen pizza test. I don't know what Red Barron pizza they ate, but the one I ate was crap. A buck-fifty Jack's from Menards is twice the pizza.
Tonight I dine out at Paradiso Mexican (chips are free, meal is extra). Paradiso has free meal deals for birthday people, and tonight we have a double birthday deal, Charlene and Gus. I feel brave and I think I will try something different, maybe the tacos. Or a burrito. I hear they are good.

Deal!
I let this one group hunt deer on the farm every fall. One of the fellows comes down from Alaska, and every year I get a couple nice slabs of halibut out of the deal.

A lot like Old Mexico near Bill's place, now gone.

Don't know when we'll make it, but we bought the parts for stroganoff. Probably not tonight, since we just had steak last night. Salmon appeals. Not with a heavy sauce, though. Just fresh rosemary and some sort of liqueur.
