OMG, almost on a whim, I spent a lot of money yesterday on a new instrument.
But OMG, is it beautiful. (Can you say AFRICAN BLACKWOOD?)

If you can play a saw, why can't you play a knife? ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I don't get it. You are going to cut up your guitar with a knife?

Yep I'd say you splurged. I got one for $90, quite the dealio. The knife shop down the street from the Square Peg got like 40 of them at huge discount from Wusthof for being such a good dealer, so the shop just sold them at cost as a promotion.

OK that's more reasonable. HENCKEL in that range is low hundreds. Love good knives.

That looks like a great knife. I've always wanted a blade like that.....potatoes don't stick to the blade.
And Lonnie.....I think that guy playing with the spoon, when he got done he just hung it on his nose.

Good knives, like any tool, are worth the money. Good snag Will-I-am.

Oh yeah. We have one very nice chef knife from Nova Scotia. Could just lose all the rest if I got to keep that one.

Good choice Bill. A fine kitchen knife is like a fine guitar and will last a lifetime.
(most of us like to eat even more than we like to play guitar)

I gave my wife a set of good kitchen knives several years ago and they're still great given an occasional run on a wet stone. I gave them to her for Valentines day and told her they were the Loraina Bobbitt signature models to sort of tie them in.
