Hello all you crazy guitar enthusiasts! I registered! I was Jeff in Montana, now I'm Lakeside. I read an interesting article about Esteban in Acoustic Guitar World sometime back. I'll have to see if I can track in down on the net somewhere. I don't recall all the specifics, but I do remember coming away thinking he wasn't such a bad guy. He was a big believer in promoting the guitar, even before QVC. Yes, I came away LIKING Esteban! Oh, the shame! But, I still ain't buying his geetars. You folks have a great day.

Welcome Jeff or Lake.. or Side.... The shame of Pennsylvania (that would Esteban, not the Phillies) is returning to the Pittsburgh area as his headquarters is relocating from NY state (the horror of it)....he's moving back to Pennsylvania. He'll be easy to find walking around with that hat in the steel city. His "sales schitck" on QVC suggests to em that he has thought long and hard about promoting the guitar so I wouldn't be surprised if his motives were good at one time, but to benefit financially by selling a sub-standard product to people who don't know better, I have a tough time have good thoughts about this Pittsburgh-son. His ad in AG was pretty sad. At leats he's paying freight for the rag we all read. Little does he know that the eaders of AG are not easily fooled by dark hats and glasses. fat chance he sells many CD's from that ad.

Maybe they are trying to win over the canoe paddle crowd! Bill, as an avid canoer, I take offense at that remark!

Bill -- you must either exalt me or smite me! You can not be outraged though -- I got this pic from someone else on the old board - now I can't recall who did this -- but I thought it was GREAT!

It was a certain StrickPerson who crafted that image, Tim!

Hey Bill - if you can try and catch the Sunday mid afternoon jam at Applejack's Bar in La Honda. If you get farther down the coast the Monterey aquarium and that whole 17 mile drive/Pebble Beach thing is worth a look. Fine guitar shop nearby there called Carmel Music. Have fun
Mm

Bill, there any way to reverse the negative on your avatar so that you don't block the view of Barb? I'm pretty sure you would sell more CDs that way to. Jus' sayin'
