Good morning. Not having any insomnia problems just difficulty waking up, need more coffee. I did pretty much take yesterday off other than putting new strings on my classical guitar. The golf course is closed for work on the greens for a couple of days so I'll have to find something else to do today, or not.

Good Morning Good People
Mild thunderstorms this morning. A morning better spent in bed listening to thunder and rain, but I'm in the office writing some marketing stuff, then setting forth to deal with parental finances and dropping in on prospective clients.
A mere 14 days until our granddaughter's predicted arrival. House full of baby stuff. Getting nervous.
Have a peaceful Tuesday one and all.

Best wishes to all. And let's listen to this wonderful song about birthin' babies! I so loved this song as a youth, just latched onto that bass line of the harmony. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2re8-uyjzU

Perfect song find, John!! Tam I know what you mean about both the waiting thing and the house full of baby stuff! Our Grand-darling is now 5 days overdue!! They're going in after her on Thursday! My daughter (a nurse practitioner) is still working but today is her last day.

Oh my Cyndy.....I saw that shot the other day. She looks like she's about to pop!
Mornin'.....
Big thunder boomers rolled through here last night, dumping a couple of inches of rain and at least six inches of lightning. I opened my window this morning and could hear my lawn growing. We mowed Sunday, it needs it again today. A Fescue blend, it is gorgeously green and lush and feels great to walk through barefoot.....but dayem it grows way too fast. Close to an inch a day and I have not fertilized it. Only Rambeau has.
So too cold and wet to do anything outside, laundry is caught up, leftovers to clean up for supper tonight. I am forced to dink here, work on the website, and play guitar. Crap. ;D

Thanks John and Bill -- great baby-birthin songs. Of course one thing leads to another and I have spent way too much time on YouTube this morning.
Mizz Resolve -- your daughter has a huge smile in anticipation of the blessed event!
Ana reluctantly let us take some preggers pictures -- will post one later.

OY! Am I having an unpleasant day here at the old office. Hedline tech error, chewed out by my manager for going above and beyond, the mucus ball at the next desk is making all sorts of horrific noises (all day, every day), the BA Jam is losing steam and someone I kindly offered to host a house concert for just emailed with a list of prerequisites that is curling my hair.
Plus, the only open dates they will be available in NYC are Monday through Thursday... what? I don't think I can have someone with a Bose PA play a concert in my living room on a week night. I live in an apartment house.
Yeesh. I just want to go home and play guitar.

Good morning!
Cyndy, she looks ready.
Bought a new bike last night. Rode it to work this morning. Google says it was 10.4 miles and should take 57 minutes. I did it in 50, which surprised me. About 2/3 of the route is on a nice, paved bike trail that follows the Papio Creek, so its pretty much flat. And I had a tailwind most of the way. If the wind doesn't change before the end of the day, I am so screwed getting home.
Cheers!
